I think that I will still buy an Xbox One S mainly because of the 4K Streaming and 4K Blu Ray disk drive, since we will still have over a year and quarter to go, before Scorpio is released after the release of Xbox One S. It will go nicely with my 65" LG 4K led TV., The Xbox One S will still upscale games to 4K. Another thing to remember here is that a stand alone 4K Blu ray player will cost much more than the Xbox One S(which has a 4K Blu Ray Drive) and a stand alone 4K Blu Ray player ...
I think it will have a faster cpu and gpu obviously, and be upgraded to HDMI 2.0 be able to have the capability to stream 4k 60fps UHD from Netflix and YouTube etc and play 4K Blu ray movie and 4K concert disks when they hit the market later this year since Sony are one of the main players in getting that off the ground, and it will only upscale 1080p games to 4k just like the PS3 and Xbox 360(sometimes the Xbox One and PS4 do that still)upscale to 1080P. It just won't be native 4k. I thi...
It will be for Myself, my partner and my son. We will buy a new PS4K immediately since we all have 4K LED TV's and HDMI 2.0 cables.
I don't know about not becoming the norm as currently in my country(NZ) there is a deal to buy an Akai 4K LED 55" smart TV with 4 HDMI inputs with inbuilt WiFi for $612 US dollars. I am picking one up for the girlfriend who has an older 1080P LCD TV. We checked the pic quality at the shop and it looked much better than what she had and that was only showing a 1080P Blu Ray movie so it's a win win really at that low price. Yes I know Akai isn't a well known top brand and is ...
Mine is doing the very same thing so we started only buying digital games because of the eject bug. Two of my consoles have done the very same thing and I hear lots of people complaining about the same issue, so it must be a design fault. Hopefully that would be ironed out with the new upcoming model. In the mean time try opening your PS4 and find the little black screw and turn it clock wise, as if tightening it and hopefully that sorts it for awhile. Did for me. I am now waiting for the new...
Because some of us and more by the day, have 4K TV's right now(myself, I have 3) and want to be able to utilize them even if just for the upcoming 4K Blu ray movies and 4K concerts coming this year. Since Sony is playing a big part in the new Blu Ray 4K UHD disks, it makes sense for them to be able to push it and help get it out there to the masses. The added bonus will be better and consistent game frame rates etc on current 1080P games, hopefully a rock solid 60fps which seems to be a s...
After Phil Spencer said what he did regarding an upgradable Xbox One I can see this happening on both consoles whether people like it or not. One company isn't going to be caught napping while the other releases stronger 4k hardware. Also the Nintendo code named NX console that is going to release either late this year or early next will have 4k ready hardware right out the box so that is probably another reason Sony and Microsoft feel like they have to do something to support 4k. I for o...
I on the other hand hope it is true. I would buy one in a heart beat, along with an updated 4k UHD ready Xbox One and gladly hook both up to my 65" 4k LG TV. I will also get the new Nintendo NX later this year or whenever it will be released, which will also do UHD 4K. We have three 4k TV's throughout our house. Two 49"s and the 65".. My high end gaming PC is hooked up to one of the 49" 4K'led's and 4K gaming is fantastic if you can run it.... My stand alone PC...
I used to play Trackmania Nations back in the day when it was only on PC and had a blast for years. There are some amazing talented track designers out there from TM Nations so I look forward to seeing what they can come up with on Turbo over time. SOLD... Bought it and will be playing it tonight. The only concern I have for myself will be that I played solely on keyboard since TM Nations was only on PC so I got used to that, so if I buy for console I will have to get used to racing with a c...
I really like the idea and will be upgrading as soon as it becomes available. My current PS4 is out of warranty & has that dreaded eject bug and ejects my disk games in the middle of play so I only play digital downloaded games right now but I had heard the rumor of a 4K PS4 version coming, so have held off buying a new one for now. Every room in my house has a 4K Led in it so a 4K PS4 would be great for us
I have an Xbox One and a PS4 but had $30 credit on my Xbox live account which was a gift from a friend so I get $30 off Trackmania Turbo in the store, so will go with the Xbox One version this time since that's a nice discount for the digital version. I tried the Beta on the Xbox One and enjoyed it, but I always was going to, since I used to play Trackmania Nations back in the day on PC for years off and on and got quite good at it. I tried the Xbox One version on an LG 65" 4K LED an...
We turned off Ambient Occlusion and put sharpness up to 70 in the game and the blur went away and the game actually looked really good as in crisp and clear. Objects in the distance looked clearer to. It depends on what you like but to us here it looked much better.. With it turned on things looked a bit grainy and muddy to my eyes. Try it.

luckily I didn't delete my Closed beta client and heard a rumour that there was going to be an Open beta. Since it's now open beta I will download to my Xbox one as well and try it on that a day early and compare both.
As a side note, I asked some developers of the game, when they we...
We thought this might happen so didn't delete our closed beta's that we had installed on 3 of our PS4's in the house ( each room ). We will download to our 3 Xbox One's that we also have and try the game on Microsoft's console to since its gone open beta, and decide which one to buy for. That will be determined by what version runs better and which one has the least amount of lag when playing along side others in the dark zone when everyone floods Ubisofts servers.
I was having problems with my YouTube app with the update before this last one, when trying to launch it and it would crash on me and it was shutting my Xbox One down but after the latest firmware update all is well again & YouTube now works great again, so they fix things pretty fast if you report it. I like the new look and I accept that when I entered the Beta preview experience that it was exactly that, a Beta. Bugs get fixed and they update pretty fast. The problems that I was having...
And with full on Mod support announced currently for PC and Xbox One versions of the game(PS4 probably to follow) the mod community will make this game last for years and years to come, so no level cap is a great thing :) Good times ahead:)
Bu bu bu buhh Vulcan!!! lol.... DX12 maybe coming and it's awesome that it is, especially for pc users, but so is Vulcan which PS4 can use, which will do basically the same thing for PS4 as DX12 will do for Xbox One, so once again it will come down to who has the best hardware and we all know which console has the edge there, and that wont change. For the record, I have PS4, Xbox one, Wii U and a gaming PC and enjoy all. I am looking forward to Windows 10 and DX12 on my PC though. I have ...
As they are for us in my household to, so much so, that we have to have a few of each console through out the house to stop people fighting with who's turn it is AND so that we can also play all the exclusives from each console maker...We have 3 PS4's, 3 Xbox One's 2 Wii U's and 2 gaming 8 core pc's with top line GPU's and all connected to 4K TV's that have HDMI 2.0 & 10-Bit HEVC/H.265 Decoders for 4K 60p movie streaming (65" in living room and two 49"...
Actually the Xbox One allows support for two external HDD's being plugged in at the same time along side the internal HDD for physical games, so that's three drives if one wants it. Pretty damn good... I hope that Sony allow the PS4 to do the same thing some time soon (for at least one external) regardless of them allowing internal HDD swaps.
I am buying it solely on the 4K Blu-Ray Drive and 4k Streaming to my LG 4K 65" TV since I already have an Xbox One. Ive been waiting for a 4K stand alone player for awhile now, so this is great, since it will also play my games to. Stand alone 4K Blu Ray players will cost more than the Xbox One S, without the option to play triple A games, so to get a 4K Blu Ray and streaming 4k Netflix/Youtube etc option, AND, a console to play my games, up-scaled to 4K, all in one box, for that price,...
