700 cars? All free right off the disk for all of us to use in game? or the usual for Forza games, most of those cars you can only get hold of by paid DLC after the game has released?

I had Destiny on my PS4 and levelled right up like I guess the rest of you. My partner and my son also had Destiny and did the very same thing. We spent many hundreds off hours on this game and we were definitely planning to buy the new one on PS4 Pro to do the very same thing on Destiny 2 since we had plenty of fun co-oping together, but if a 6TF powerful console gets shafted and a 4TF console which is weaker gets 4k resolution in this game and the more powerful console doesn't, then I w...

My list would be 6) Sony ( Even though the games looked good that they showed, all they showed was just game trailers on a video screen and nothing else, so that could have been done without being on an e3 stage, Their conference felt very rushed as if they had no interest in e3 this year and there was no live game play of any games shown. Since then, Sony have admitted that they kept many big game announcements back from e3 which proves e3 wasn't that important for them this year. It jus...

I don't really care. As long as now Microsoft finally has a gaming device that can compete and render graphics just as good, if not better than my PS4 Pro. The Xbox One was far behind in that department and now in power it is not, so that I can now play games on either console with them looking and playing just as well as each other, and that's a good thing. Another thing, unlike most, I am buying this to connect to my Marantz sr7011 Dolby Atmos 4K HDR home multichannel sound receiver...

OMG! LOL how Ironic and rich after a sentence like, Phil Spencer didn't LEARNED anything? Learned? English lesson, the word you were looking for was "learn" in that sentence and not learned dude!! lol HAHAHA. It looks more like you haven't learnt much in the English grammar department. School drop out or immature child? The Microsoft conference was great in my opinion and I'm a fan boy of no consoles. I just play games no matter what they are on. For the record I have...

I am not a huge gamer even though family members are(I do play but more casually) but I am deffinetly looking for a good 4K HDR, Dolby Atmos Audio supported, Blu-Ray player and was going to buy a standalone player to do the job, which will plug into my Marantz SR7011 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X surround sound 4K Receiver and 65" 4K HDR TV, but Scorpio will do the job nicely now that I hear it will support all those things and at a cheaper price than a standalone player that doesn't play 4K gam...

The GPU in Scorpio when tested and compared to a PC GPU counterpart performed the equivalent of a GTX1070 with Ultra PC settings in 4K 60fps in Forza 6 Apex according to Digital Foundry. The Scorpio didn't miss a beat and the only GPU cards that kept up was the GTX1070 and the GTX1080. If true then this new incoming console is a powerful beast in the graphics department. Having DX12 baked into the GPU of Scorpio will bypass the bottlenecks of the CPU mentioned by people here because the h...

If its a DX12 game then it will make 4K 60fps. The CPU inside the Scorpio is so radically modified that Microsoft themselves don't even refer to it as Jaguar. They see it as its own thing. As for DX12 it doesn't need the Scorpio's CPU.. They built DX12 into the command processor of the GPU and what that means is that, for all the high frequency API invocations that the games do, they'll all natively implemented in the logic of the command processor - and what this means is th...

I wish LG would do the same thing for their 4K smart TV's. I have been having a constant pop up message telling me Switch is active on an HDMI port over and over again when Switch isn't being used and is only sitting in its dock charging, so much so, that I have to remove Switch from its dock to stop it from constantly popping up in front of my damn screen.

You should feel nothing. You have enjoyed your launch console over the years just like I have. I will now buy a Xbox Scorpio if I want higher frame rates and higher resolution in my games, just like I would upgrade any other device that I own, because it has got older, and something better with more advanced tech inside of it has come onto the market. It is your choice to do that or not, just like it is mine and for any other person out there. Your launch console, that you have had for years ...

Mike Ybarra posted yesterday on twitter that Developers are free to choose how they use the power of Project Scorpio for games. We have no requirements limiting framerate or fidelity.
https://twitter.com/XboxQwi...
When someone replied but there is a fps parity between Xbox One and Scorpio in multiplayer. Which means a 2013 console is holding a 2017 console back. He replied,
No, the...

Wrong! He did say that a year ago but they obviously changed there minds. Mike Ybarra yesterday posted a tweet on Twitter saying Developers are free to choose how they use the power of Project Scorpio for games. We have no requirements limiting framerate or fidelity.

He might have said that ages ago but since then they have changed there minds which they are entitled to do. MS is not mandating any framerate or fidelity requirements on Scorpio including in MP Gaming . Developers will decide what frame rates to allow for there own games. That was from Mike Ybarra himself over on his twitter page yesterday. Do your homework! Go to Twitter and read what he says for yourself.

And according to facts The Scorpio's processor is highly modified, so much so, that Microsoft don't refer to it as a Jaguar core anymore, and any current and future DX12 PC game will run easily on Scorpio since DX12 is taken away from the internal modified processor of Scorpio and is baked directly into the GPU's command pr...

DX 12 built right into the GPU of the Scorpio so would taker a load of processing right away from the CPU. I am guessing that the PC version is built for DX12 so there you go so that would apply in the Scorpio's case. Also more Ram, 12Gigs, will help for textures etc. The PS4 doesn't have any of those perks to its system.

OMG! Déjà vu! The exact same thing was said about the Wii U years ago and look what happened to it lol. First party games are great, but if a console now a days want to survive successfully for a long period, then that console needs lots of third party support, including Nintendo's consoles. If it doesn't get it this time, sales will start to diminish and the Switch will become an ornament for most people gathering dust just like the Wii U did and relegated to the second co...

I look at a console these days and decide what it can do as an over all complete package and if the Scorpio can do 4K Blu Ray/4K streaming, and have full support for the new audio formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and also has full HDR 10 support including HDMI 2.1 for Dynamic HDR and I now hear that even Dolby Vision HDR could come to it since Dolby have announced recently a software solution to add Dolby Vision to devices, and this powerful game/media device is for a cheaper price than a stand ...

My Switch and my partners Switch does the very same thing, sending a notification to the TV screen telling us that the Switch is available when it was put in sleep mode and no one at that moment was using it. Hope that's fixed or that they will fix it quickly. It's quite annoying to see that message all the time flashing on screen when you are watching TV etc.
