Is there any plans for an Oceania server so that us Australian/New Zealand players can look forward to having a good multiplayer experience? I know that they're lots of people from the Oceania region really looking forward to playing this game to when released. The game looks so good.
Looks great to me, but i was always buying the new Xbox AND a PS5 day one anyway
.
And thats why HDR tuning is a great thing for what you just described that was happening to you with not being able to see in dark scenes & shadow areas. Your blacks in HDR were gettin crushed. The HDR tuning on a system level would allow you to fix that problem & then really enjoy the benefits of HDR. HDR set up properly is beautiful.
I think they could download and play for free for a few days or so. Everyone can. https://support.robertsspac...
I didn't get the first one since there was no online play and for racing games and for its longevity I feel a game like this needs some multiplayer. It sounds like there will be in the sequel so I might just buy this. I look forward to seeing the reviews, hopefully positive.
They have not said "they may add Dolby Vision" They "ARE" adding Dolby vision, firstly for streaming apps such as Netflix etc, then at a later date for Blu Ray 4K HDR disks.. They also have full support for Dolby Atmos which I use regularly. https://www.windowscentral....
I have been waiting for the new HDMI 2.1 TVs to come out so that I can upgrade so I'm hoping next year will be the year I can do that. The thing is I won't upgrade until I see an HDMI 2.1 hardware based TV with an ATSC 3.0 tuner which supports 4K broadcasting and that Ive heard is replacing the old 1.0 that we have all been using since 1996 and which caps out at 1080P( ATSC 3.0 is not backwards compatible with our existing ATSC 1.0 TV tuners) 2836d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment
Samsung and Panasonic account for a substantial chunk of the global TV marketplace and both support HDR10+. Samsung and Panasonic's new TVs have HDR10+ on their new 4K HDR TV's and Panasonic are releasing their new 4K Blu-Ray players very soon and their premier UB820 model will support HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision https://blogs.panasonic.com... 20th Cen...
Now all they need is support for HDR 10+ which works in the same way as Dolby Vision. Like Dolby Vision, HDR10+ is all about adding dynamic metadata to the HDR signal. HDR10+ is a free, open format that any company can tweak and deploy as it sees fit. https://www.whathifi.com/ad...
Its looking great on the Switch. I am so happy to see the love being thrown at Nintendo this generation with third party game titles. The library is growing all the time. Keep the games coming. Enjoy people.
I am happy with my X but then again I use mine more as a 4K multimedia device connected to my Marantz sr7011 Dolby Atmos HDR Receiver, so I am definitely in the minority here. I do play games and others in my house play games, but I probably use it more for multimedia than playing games. The X was a cheaper Dolby Atmos 4K Blu-Ray machine than buying for example an Oppo 4K Blu-Ray player, so for me its been great. I have a full Dolby Atmos speaker 5.2.4 set up which includes 4 elevation speake...
I knew about this ages ago because I do my research and have held off upgrading my Sony 65" X930D TV to a newer model, I wont be upgrading as tempting as it is until I see HDMI 2.1 hardware, freesync2 and the brand new ATSC 3.0 tuners built in to the new TVs. If they come next year then I will pull the trigger. If I have to wait for a few years then so be it but because I know that ATSC 3.0 is definitely coming and will support 4K TV broadcasts and wont be backwards compatible with what ...
Very nice turnaround Nintendo from what was a disaster in the Wii U. I am glad that this has happened and the support by people around the world for The Nintendo Switch seems to be very good.. I was one of the first people queueing up to buy a Switch back in March of last year, so this is great news for future ongoing support for all of us who invested in one.
Thanks mate. I am glad that it isnt just me and that the HDR bug will be fixed in a patch soon. Thanks for the reply:-)
I noticed that it was stated that both Xbox One X and PS4 Pro versions had HDR but for some very weird reason HDR only activates on my Xbox One X trial version of the game and not on my full PS4 Pro version on my TV. How ironic is that, since the version that isn't activating HDR last time I played, is the Sony version connected to my Sony 65" 4K HDR TV lol. Maybe there is another update waiting for me so that it activates next time I fire the game up. Meanwhile, Destiny 2 on my Xbox...
I havent touched my PS4 Pro since I bought my Xbox One X. All of my third party games look and run so much better on the X and at the moment I am mainly focused on third party games right now and I get a much better experience on my X playing them with higher resolution, better texture packs and stable frame rates. I am also using my Xbox One X as a very good 4K HDR-10 Blu-Ray player which has onboard support for HDMI 2.1, Freesync 2 when HDMI 2.1 TV's come out in 2018. the Xbox One X als...
LOL and how much did you pay for all that compared to an Xbox One X? And how much do you have to zoom in to see a difference between your gaming PC using a GPU much more expensive by itself, compaired to an Xbox One X. How obvious is the difference when running a 4K textured patched game on it, take for example Forza 7, before you even see a clear difference between your system and an Xbox One X costing so much less, since you are quick to use that same argument regarding a PS4 Pro and an Xb...
Because the Xbox One X is a very good 4K Blu-Ray player in its own right. A good standalone 4K Blu Ray player can cost much more than an Xbox One X so the Xbox One X for a dedicated 4K Blu Ray movie player to connect to a modern home theater receiver is a great buy just on its own before games even come in to it. The Xbox One X has HDR 10 Rec2020 colour space support along with Dolby Atmos an DTS:X audio support for Movies and Gaming along with future proofing having an HDMI 2.1 port for upco...
LOL I have an 8Tb and a 4TB external hard drive connected at the same time to my 2Tb Xbox One S giving me 14TB of Hard Drive space. Talk about over kill but there you go lol. I think I am ready with free space hehehe. Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition was pre-ordered as soon as they became available for day one delivery. I will lose 1TB of internal HDD space since Xbox One X has only a 1Tb hard drive, but 13TB of hard drive space with my two externals plugged in to my new Xbox One X should l...
I'm one of the unlucky ones who received the email telling me that I will be getting a PS5 in the 2nd shipment in December. Damn! Nothing alerted me when I was pre-ordering on the Sony store that I had missed the first shipment. That's disappointing but It could be worse I could have missed out altogether like some did. I have PS Plus so that didn't help prioritize me for a 1st shipment. The galling thing though is I have a family member who pre-ordered hours after me at another o...
