It's actually a great game. Story is solid not great, the controls are great, switching to first person to fire a missile can be frustrating but extremely rewarding. The boss fights are extremely memorable, I'd name some but that would be a spoiler. All in all i can honestly say if you own a Wii and enjoy great games for a bargain bin price pick this game up now!
What do you call Metroid Other M, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine? Some could say Zelda The Wind Waker was a risk. Checking the facts never hurt anyone.

GTA has already came out for Nintendo. *Points at GTA: Chinatown Wars* Also they don't keep M-Rated games from being on there consoles. In the pass the problem has been difficult hardware for development and lack of sales of Mature games on the Wii.
I hope the next console's aren't a huge graphical jump again. I would really hate to have to pay $75 for a game. We shouldn't see such a huge jump this time due to the fact that technology prices have been slowly going down, even more so than normal, due to the global recession.
Your concept does look very nice. Only thing I can see wrong with it is I could see problems with the locking mechanism holding the 2 together. All in all though a very nicely done and well thought out design for the control.

How do you know that the Wii2 has been rushed? I'm sorry but Nintendo's consoles have always been reliable. Same cannot be said for Sony or Microsoft.
How much more realistic can graphics really get? You can only push how things look so far before you reach the limit.

Best thing that could happen is they lose exclusivity of the NFL license. 2K12 is were it would be. Until then, EA will decide how much they want to actually "improve" the game instead of just rehashing it... *cough*cough* Madden11 *cough*cough*.
