It won't be worthless for Nintendo exclusives and 3rd party exclusives. It'll be in the same boat the PS3 is in. It's multi--platform games will be on par with 360 but it's exclusive will be able to make full use of the console.
I think it'd be nice of you could hook up the Classic Pro to the tablet and play without use of the TV. That's just me all is unknown ATM though until I can get that controller in my hands and see how it feels.

I'm looking forward to having the HUD in my hand more than anything. I hate playing games like Dragon Age, Grand Theft Auto, Mass Effect, and others having such large HUD's.
I for one, am personally looking forward to playing some old school FPS. Which is what I've heard Duke Nukem Forever is more of. Which is fine with me, although I never pay full retail price for FPS games because lets face it, there are tons of them.
By the time Vita launches the 3DS will have pretty much all those games listed at this years E3. Kid Icarus, Mario 3D, ect.

I could see it if they make 1 Wii-U controller with a screen and then release similar controllers but without the screen for multiple play. I guess we'll have to wait and see though.
Why does everyone keep mentioning the Vita and PS3? Are you telling me that the Vita can stream to the PS3 and blow up that image to your big screen TV and keep its "awesome graphics"? If it's easy to port from PS3 and X-Box 360 they are losing money to not port it to the WiiU. Just saying if they are going to make multi-platform games they should have it on all of them to maximize profits.

Any gamer who likes quality Nintendo content will be tempted to buy the WiiU. Sorry to say but people who own just one console shouldn't consider themselves "hardcore" (I hate that word "hardcore") But hey that's just IMO.
I can see a price drop to the 3DS around holiday season. Maybe just down to $219.99. Also the library for the 3DS is heating up and I only know of 1 game for Vita atm. (I may be wrong) But by the time Vita comes out the 3DS library will more than likely have better and more games.

"they go for gimmick over quality" Really? Nintendo makes some of the highest quality games and systems. Wii has the lowest failure rate of any console this gen and they have some of the best exclusives. Also the definition of gimmick - especially one designed to attract attention or increase appeal. So by the meaning of the word gimmick everyone has one, 360 has Live, PS3 has blu-ray. So many fanboys try to twist and turn their arguments and words to fit their beliefs and opinions....
"3d that gives you headaches every 5 mins" I'm extremely tired of this myth. I play games in 3D on my 3DS and PS3 and only have minor problems the first 5minutes, and I have astigmatism.
