I agree with the fact that the presentation was weird. To be honest, this E3 was one of the worst presented E3's in recent memory for me. Even with new systems, Vita and Wii-U, everything just seemed bland this year. Were is the spunk and excitement from last year? It was all ho-hum, in my opinion of course.
I'm pretty sure they took the name Wii U to keep the casual's happy and to let them know "Hey look we are the next Wii buy me!" Makes since from a marketing stand, it's pretty much the same reason PlayStation and X-Box keep there name as PlayStation 2,3, X-Box 360, ect. It's all for marketing. I'll just call it Nintendo myself haha.

Reggie just announced it is a new console and it will be in 1080p. Thank goodness. I like how it removes the HUD from some games. I think it will make you more in depth to the game. That's just my opinion.
You wont buy the Wii U to play the same game twice. Saying that is like saying "I already own a X-Box 360, why should I buy a PS3 too? They have the same games." Some of these people on N4G are just... excuse me here, retarded. Basically what Nintendo is saying is, "Not only do we have some of the greatest first party games around but now all those multi-platform games will be available on the Wii U and be just as good if not better."

At 0.28 the 3DS version looks better IMO. All in all tho I don't see much of a difference. And for those saying "Lol, it looks better on PS2." All I can say, it was built for the PS2. To think that the 3DS version is anything more than a port is naive.
Time will tell my friend. You make it sound as if nothing ever changes. Nintendo catered to the core gamers before in the past, who's to say they won't/can't do it again? Things change, and any self respecting gamer will be missing out on great Nintendo exclusive content if they jump ship and don't buy a "Project Cafe".

I honestly think Nintendo has the best exclusives, then Sony, then PC, then X-Box 360. I only own a Wii and a PS3 because most games I want coming out for 360 also come out for the PC.

Let's put it this way. I hate the Link from Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks. The Link in the new Skyward Sword tho I love. They are both cartoony but I like Skyward Sword Link the best.
