How can you even say that the XBOX360 and PS3 can be in the top ten if you think the Wii shouldn't be? That makes no sense at all from any perspective. The Wii has brought gaming to the masses. What have the PS3 and XBOX360 done? Made online gaming on consoles and made consoles more like PC's?
The #1 gaming console of all time is the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. So many great games. After the SNES I'd have to give it to the PlayStation 2. The SNES has some of the greatest games of all time and took gaming out of its infancy. The PS2 really took what the SNES did and sent gaming to pop culture. You could also give credit to the Wii to be the first console to send gaming to the eyes of the masses.
Will Lebron James be on the Cavaliers, or will they switch his team if he moves to a different team? Hmm...
The commentary while the guy was playing the game made me laugh. Looks sweet though. Might take awhile to get use to the controls from the looks of it. It's a pre-order and day 1 pickup for me.
Guess what... most of those games are on X-Box 360. There are only 2 Wii games on the entire list. AMAZING!
He is one of those people that think shooting games and games were you kill people are hardcore games. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, pfft, that is so casual gamer. (Sarcasm) Oh, I'm 50 hours in the game right now. There is not such think as hardcore gamer and casual gamer, there is just gamers. Some who enjoy party games, some who enjoy shooters. Madworld was a great game, but no one wants to go out and spend $50 on a game that last 8 hours with no multiplayer.
Damn, I was honestly thinking about getting another X-Box 360. As many of you may know I bought one about 3 years ago from Christmas and it RROD'd all over my face the very first day. Curse you Microsoft, I was really wanting to play Fable 2!!!
Ah, the Nintendo haters pile in. Some people just need to get over the fact that not everyone thinks and acts the way you do. I know that 80% of the people on N4G take the Wii as a joke and constantly overuse the "my Wii is collecting dust" speech. I play my Wii a couple hours a day, and apparently a lot of people do too. If you think the study is wrong do one your damn self and post it.
Refer to tunaks1 post below Palodios. Please learn to have at least a little knowledge on the statement you are posting. /STAMP
I get more playtime out of my Wii than my PS3, also since I played Metroid Prime 3 I just can't get back to the dual analog shooting controls. I just get sick of the constant shooting and killing games. Were is the variety on the High Def consoles? Someone point me to a good non-killing/shooting game. (P.S. I already have Little Big Planet and Street Fighter IV.) If anyone can point me to a variety of games on PS3 please let me know.
I agree with most of your post however I believe Nintendo, and all other 1st part groups, are the ones who are trying to change things up. I mean just look at everything they have done with innovation. They brought motion controls to market, touch screens, and now a 3D hand-held? Sure they may be rehashing old franchises but none of them are hardly ever the same. I mean Super Mario Galaxy was new, fresh, and innovative wasn't it? What about Metroid Prime and Wii Sports? Those are huge inn...
Even worthy of preordering. Hopefully they'll give out some sort of Epic Yarn shirt. =D
Umm... Wii with Motion plus can do that. Also I'm sorry to say, that looks a lot like a Wii-mote waggle to me. I'm glad however to see I am not the only one who enjoys motion controls. So about winning the "Motion War", clearly Nintendo is currently winning the "Motion War". I also think that it is clear to nearly every "core" gamer knows that "Motion War" is only going to be fought by Nintendo and Sony. It's no coincident that both Nintendo...
Yes, I do like the art style of Skyward Sword. No, I didn't like the art style of Wind Waker. The difference is, they went way to childish with the Wind Waker. I like the "realistic" look with the cel-shaded art style. It kinda reminds me of what No More Heroes does. Takes a great art style and mixes it with the perfect setup. Also, with cel-shading it can truly keep the Wii's graphical lacking in order.
I believe a hand-held is the only way that people will really accept 3D as of right now. Nobody really wants to go out and buy extra glasses plus a new TV. Sorry Sony, you are wrong on this one. Hand-held 3D > Television 3D (Currently). Maybe 3D will be bigger on Television in the next five to ten years but in the near future, hand-held goes all the way.
Who cares? We care, it show's who is headed in the right direction this year. It shows who's console will have the best lineup for the holiday season. Also for those who own some stock of there favorite console manufacturer it makes it an even bigger deal of who won. The real question is, why don't you care?
Gamestop is great, you just have to hit the sales at the right time. I traded in Final Fantasy 13 a couple weeks ago and got $42 for it in trade in credit. What people don't seem to understand about Gamestop is that is basically a Pawn Shop but strictly with video games and accessories. The biggest problem with Gamestop is not that they don't give you enough money for your games. It's the fact that video games lose value very quickly and they just cant go out and buy a $60 game fo...
Who in the world has a Wii without a sensor bar? Also, as I have heard, the game that comes with Move is a demo. I could be wrong but that is what I have been led to believe. I also think you have to take into account how many games will be supporting Move from the beginning.
The smartest, most sensible comment I've read in along time. +Bubbles
Kinda reminds me of Halo, Killzone, Resistance, and Gears of War boxart's.
