That's agreeable. The Wii really did cause gaming to split in those categories and since then, gaming on the "casual side" became a lot easier. That's why it got that monicker, right?
And sorry I got confused, when people use "hardcore" to describe "everyday gaming" I kind of get the more literal definition of "casual" confused with the gamers' one. I just always been fussy on grammar and I'm not one to memorize each group'...
Then what's the point of two separate consoles? They're very similar to begin with and now there's going to be the possibility of playing across networks. It's like video games are becoming a trust.
Explain how you're hardcore. I don't think you're a speed runner or a heavy competitive type.

To all questioning NewMonday, yes it was a scam. Nintendo didn't make Pokemon Go and the investors knew that. It doesn't make sense for their stock to shoot up $20 in less than a week, considering they only own part of the Pokemon franchise. Hmm...it could've been a scam or pure naïveté on the investors' part now that I think of it.

Gamepad definitely was not the best gimmick. But some gimmicks are good.
For a lot of FPS games, I wish there was a type of control where you could move the gun and the camera independently. For example, Battlefield the gun always follows the center of the screen, but as you move the camera, things move out of sight and the angles of where you need to shoot at change a lot. In Metroid Prime, the reticle moves more freely, because the targets you sometimes need a lot more precision, ...
