There's no such thing as artificial demand. The fact that there is a shortage, doesn't change the demand. It's still there, and it still gauges demand. It's like none of you took high school economics.
An extremely liberal girl at my high school argued with me after I said that white people have there own ethnic food.
I guess you could blame socialism.
Have the policies too loose, then you're going to end up with the Wii again - A whole crap load of shovelware.
Nothing unrealistic about extremely cut muscles and inhuman strength and able to have the mindset to overcome every problem. Yeah, every guy is like that. /s
That did not change the demand. It made the quantity you wanted zero. What affected the 3DO's demand was the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis. The price of a similar good affects the demand, not the product's own price.
For another example, say you really want to buy a car. You see a Ferrari and think it's the most amazing car in the world. You can't afford it though. The demand for the Ferrari is still there, but the quantity you could get is zero.
If games aren't art, then that's a big F you to all the artists who help make the games.
To those who reference price...
Price does not affect the demand for a product - it only affects the quantity demanded.
Ristful, that setting has been in Metroid before. All of Metroid Fusion practically had Samus isolated on a space station. In Metroid Prime 3, you visit a destroyed space ship.
Oh wow, the spam now started copying other people's comments.
They're getting smarter!
That's horrible button placement on the image.
Not an accomplishment since the screen is 240p.
Scalpers are always around for products in high demand. PS4 had them too in its first months.
I see it still has a 240p screen. -.-
I still like FFVI better.
Even more than I am?
Exactly. They're not real phobias. Phobias are actual mental problems, and it's a mockery to use them as blatant adjectives in an effort to silence.
I hope that I'm not the only one that read that as, "Adam is green."
We simply have different views over the same topic. Neither of them are really wrong. I'm still young, just a senior in high school, and what I have noticed so far is that playing field for competitions has been becoming pretty even. I'm in ROTC, there's always some healthy competition. Our air rifle team has 4 girls and one boy, and they just won a national championship this year. A lot of the cadet officers were girls this year, and they will be the majority next year.

Boobs should not be the defining factor of what makes a woman beautiful.
