Smartphones can't hold too much ground in the handheld world for "gamer" gamers, due to lack of buttons.
I've been playing with an android device for two weeks, and the gaming selection would be mounds better if there were buttons on these phones!
Virtual joysticks are a pain.
@Neo Nugget
Or a gamecube.
Or a wii.
Re-released on gamecube
Virtual console on Wii
You'll be able to play it on Nintendo consoles for the next 20 years, I swear.
Sounding kinda like a Jim Kong Il type deal.
Everyone here wished the worst for the guy, but it pretty goes like,
"hey. We ain't sending you to jail. just... Don't hack nothing we got or else you'll have to pay some money."
"Kay."
And off he goes Scott-free. Meanwhile, he's accumulated a metric crap-ton of fame in the gaming world.
You need good hackers to fight bad hackers.
Recently, a group of white-hat (good) hackers found a number of exploits in McAfee.com.
McAfee ignored the warnings and didn't patch the exploits.
The Hackers went public with the information, which drove McAfee to patch those exploits.
White-hat hackers are sort of like the policemen of the computer world.
Black-hat hackers are like the murderers/rapist/thieves of t...
A real hacker wouldn't waste time on this.
This section of the internet is so small and insignificant, that it doesn't deface a real hacker's name at all.
It wouldn't take anything for a real hacker to wipe the floor with these guys. They could offer Sony free forensics if they handed over the IPs of all those that attacked. Have a base program and mess up all their lives.
But that's time spent elsewhere. Real hackers are o...
Teach me your ways, O' wise one.
I can't lie to you guys.
I read the article title and got stuck there.
"Why People Think Gaming is Harmful?"
My mind keeps trying to put a "do" in there, or it's trying to replace the question mark with a period.
Make it stoooooop!
You'd be surprised.
I work at my college, and the administrator password to the college of business was.....
business
After 7 months it was changed. But still.
What's interesting is that the article states that he use social engineering to get to Toulouse's account.
Which means someone had loose lips somewhere.
Just how secure are they over there with passwords?
Not much for me. A bad story makes a good game bad, and a good story doesn't make a game much more for me.
Just give me some fun things to do.
I can't play through Mass Effect due to the massive amounts of conversations and story development. It's not my style, (though, in its defense, loads of people like it.) so I'm not too much into it.
Just Cause 2? I love the game.
It says "Hey. go blow stuff up. There's ...
They get along pretty well at BBQs despite trying to kill one another.
That's the thing. $250 is an awful low amount for the technology in it. The 3DS is $250, and everyone knows the NGP will be leaps and bounds better technically.
And if Sony follows Nintendo, we might see the NGP cost more than the PS3, as the 3DS costs more than the wii as it stands.
I'd say a $350 price tag would be expected (if not more).
The pirates don't even bother me anymore.
More people playing, the more folks I get to shoot at (they'll probably be kicked off at a patch in the future anyways).
It's the blasted cheaters that get me.
Just tried to check it out. Looks like you gotta subscribe to at least a $10/month plan to GET those free 15 days. I'll pass.
I haven't played a good Mech game in a while. Might have to try this out.
Not on PC it won't.
No DX11
Not even pushing any graphical benchmarks
It's like they didn't even try on the PC.
About anything can run it, but not too many can run it -well-
The game's poorly optimized in java. Setting graphics to high on most laptops brings it to a halt basically.
Even on my PC, it heats my GPU up as much as the most demanding PC games.
You sir are my hero for the next 30 minutes.
I'm not quite sure if this is a good article.
I fired up Crysis 2 on my PC today, ready to see something great, like it's predecessor.
I went to graphical options, to see the flurry of things I could change.
Instead, I'm greeted with:
Change Resolution
Enable V-Sync
Graphical Quality: Advanced, Gamer, Hardcore
AND THAT WAS IT.
I couldn't set my AA, AF, or the other bevy of o...
Warhawk is still the absolute best online experience I've had. In it's time, it had LAN connections, and a crapton of other services that PSN didn't have at the time. It felt like a true online game.
That, and it had the greatest vehicle combat ever, balanced with the on-foot. You could wreck shop no matter what you had.
That, and it was -fun-
