I highly doubt that. Anyone except Altair and Ezio were not worth my interest in the series and it feels like it just keep getting worse.
**SPOILERS**
First of all, thanks for the spoilers.
And then again, thanks for the spoilers with no sarcasm intended this time.
I'm halfway through the game and that's it- not gonna finish it anymore. That's some big FU to the series' die-hard fans from Koijma's side. What kind of an illogical, unnecessary and harmful twist is that? Now the whole timeline is f'd, not to mention MGSV is rendered completely unnecessary for...
God dayum, that made me let out the loudest laugh ever and everyone's looking at me right now. You don't have to be an MGS fan to appreciate the hilarity of the video, I wonder if anyone posted this to Kojima san, would love to hear his reaction. After all, he was the one making Ocelot kiss Oldie Snake in MGS4.
Playing the game with a GTX 980 coupled with i7 4790 @3K capped at 30 fps, so far so good.
A XXXXX XXXXXX GAME
A TROLL MASTER GAME
Oh my, now who might that be?
I'm sorry but I have to say this. I just have to.
The new Metal Gear has a... well, no graceful way to say it. A c*ck. It has a mechanical c*ck gun.
Literally.
Now I think I've seen it all about the Metal Gear Universe, thanks a lot Kojima-san. :/
I know this will sound weird, but as an old school MGS fan the first thing I'll do will be turning the 30 fps cap on using the graphics settings on PC, even though I have a capable configuration. It just doesn't feel the same in 60 fps, the cutscenes lose the cinematic feel. 4K is a given though, it's awesome and always will be.
No doubt it'll be a good step forward for games supporting DX12, but I can't say I see a great benefit in DX11 games as far as I've tried. It provides an unnoticeable overall FPS gain in some games but that's it. Actually I've read that some games such as Bioshock Infinite runs worse on Windows 10 but well, those games are kind of dated. Looking forward for future games nonetheless.
Looks gorgeously stylized, but I can't say I'm a big fan of the lens flare effect, or whatever it is called in this game.
Seems like it's becoming a trend for next-gen open world games to require a juicy CPU, otherwise it bottlenecks the GPU. Ground Zeroes was a well-optimized game though, it ran perfectly on my system so I expect no problems with PP's release.
PC it is for me, then.
I don't want to seem like the devil's advocate but to be perfectly honest, it runs fine on my system too. I stated the exact same in another post: if I had no internet connection I would have no idea about the game's being broken, I was actually able to push it to 3K without any performance drops. I cannot speak for the rest though, but the game's next-gen, just like Watch_Dogs you shouldn't expect great performance from your gaming laptops and stuff, I wouldn't know i...
Of course she won't, PTSD is for sissies.
I mean who would get PTSD from fighting and eventually killing an ancient sun queen that can manipulate extreme weather conditions, a tribe of heavily armed maniac worshipppers who believe that the only way to escape the cursed island is to sacrifice a young girl in a fire ritual to revive an extremely dangerous and unpredictable goddess, and an army of zombie samurai warriors who're just back from the dead to protect their be...
55 days left to experience the last good Metal Gear game, and it'll definitely go with a bang.
I am shocked too. Please don't compare Deus Ex to COD because Deus Ex is a god compared to run and gun military shooters. What a game Human Revolution was.
Yeah, seeing it up close on the screen would definitely be better than watching videos so I'll make my final judgement when I play it. Jungle maps do look stellar too, I'm excited to see what the next-gen Frostbite engine could deliver. After seeing NFS, Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge it surely looks promising.
I still think the sandy planet map looks a lot better, might be due to the top notch lighting that demonstration had. Hoth maps remind me of the Battlefield 4 DLC that included snow maps.
Come on guys, it's ND we're talking about here. Whatever they touch they turn into gold, there's almost little to no possibility that a follow up game could be bad.
It's an exploration game, which makes me think that it won't be for everyone. People should take it or leave it based on what it is- and it's indeed an ambitious project, maybe too ambitious for its own good. I wouldn't have ridiculous expectations for what I've seen so far, but I feel like people don't exactly know what it's going for, so the hype might negatively affect this game. Personally I hope they do well, they seem like nice guys trying something new, that...
Oh man.
DO NOT READ THE ARTICLE UNLESS YOU'VE ALREADY FINISHED THE GAME. It just has a huge, huge spoiler in it.
Be kind to those who didn't play the game yet. You should submit these kind of articles with a [SPOILERS] warning at the headline.
