But it shows dirt
"You know, how the vita was so powerful, it was going to get all the best games and lap the 3ds in sales"
The part about games is purely relative. The second part I believe is only due to a lack of support from Sony because games can trump price. However, the Vita has been out for half a year, while the 3DS has been out for over a year of course its sales are not going to be as good.
You really think the 3DS will have better longevity than the Vita?...
It is rather ridiculous how Ninny fan boys will buy a plat former that has been around for 30 years. I personally don't find it fun because all you do is press the button that will move you to the right and a jump buttons. HOW EXCITING!
You should probably rethink your comment because it is very flawed.
I wouldn't smash the writer of the article. Rather ask yourself: "What does the Wii U have going for it?" You might be startled by your results.
Market/Appealing to:
Casual which are not willing to pay upwards of $300 to buy a new system to play ports and old games of platformers they probably already own or can access for a couple of bucks on their iPhone.
Getting sick of these articles
You're right we did. We got the best hand held on the market.
You're one of many.

Didn't know so many people bought Lego games. Still, Legos are fun.
Yeah it's looking like it is going to be good!
Well said. Nintendo has deserved this hate regarding the Wii U. They have yet to define their audience, but they hinted at casuals at E3 which again burns their core audience.
Honestly, I think the Wii U just has nothing going for it. Maybe Nintendo has some things up its sleeve which we have yet to see, but what we're presented with so far is not that convincing.
"Next gen might not be that powerful and not that big of jump we got with the 360 and...
Ouch, this article doesn't do the Wii U any favors.
Why buy a new one when it should have been better to start with?
@ AO1JMM
"What makes the 360/PS3 special? or the PS4/720 special?"
Probably the games they have including third party and first party support. Not to mention the services both Microsoft and Playstation offer which Nintendo compete with and has admitted to. They also actually give you something for your money.
"I am convinced and I WILL be getting a WiiU"
I'd like to know what convinced you? Was it y...
Iwata definitely did not make it sound like a seller. We already have streaming services and other ways to socialize with people. What makes the Wii U so special? Not to mention gaming on the Wii U has yet to convince people to buy one.
I don't understand why someone would buy this. They're providing improvements they should have been made in the first place. A bigger screen and longer battery life...
If I put my Vita in flight mode it will last probably around 5 hours. If I'm playing a PSP game it's probably around 8 hours.
Can someone explain to me Nintendo's logic and why anyone would buy this when they should have made their original product better.
They're coming in October and December. Just wait a few months and sales will go up.
"The vita doesn't really even have any good games and I don't see any good games coming out for it!"
Are you sober or are you just a Neo Natzi Ninny fanboy who waits in line to have Reggie splash his juices on your face?
Trying to sell it as a social device is not a good move Nintendo. We have these things called computers and phones which we already use to socialize with people and to play games.
@StraightedgeSES
The gameplay looks unbelievably bland. It looks like I've already experienced this all in L4D.
