I don't think it has enough software to get people to buy and stay on the system. In the end, this indie crap needs to go away because it provides little to no content to the system.
Yeah Mario games sell a lot but it should be interesting to see how much hardware their first party software can shift with the Wii U. God knows they need some enticing software.
Lol Media Molecule has 47 employees. That should put things into perspective for you about how much resources Nintendo actually puts into their games. Nintendo first parties are a rip off-no excuses!

I think Tearaway is in this genera, but it is probably more rigid than what you're looking for. Either way, it looks great!
I think he's aruging that indies won't make people buy the system. Why pay close to $300 for a system with a 8 gb memory card and pay $5 for a 200 mb game? What is the logic in that?
I love this not only because it is an awesome first step, but also because it show's just how lazy and crappy Nintendo are at innovating and making quality games.
I think at this point the only people who are going to buy their console are people who love their first party titles since the PS4 is only $50 more and will probably have a bigger library than the Wii U in the first 6 months of its release.
God knows we need it. The Vita has enough software I think to get people to buy the system but not a enough AAA games to keep them on it, indies will not satisfy us for this handhelds life.

Yeah I think everyone expected a price cut but at the same time it's understandable that they focused on the PS4. However King-Prodigy-X is probably dead on when he says it will happen at Gamescom, if I remember correctly a lot happened at Gamescom for the Vita last year.

How are indie games good for the system? All it does is boost software sales for the system and promote a "dev" friendly environment, which is ironic given that little to no developers are making games for it.
The gist is that it needs more AAA games PERIOD.
