Definitely day one for me.
To be honest I was on the fence originally, I suffer from shooter fatigue, BUT this game looks stunning and I love the vibrant colors, incredible details and character animations. I can't believe how good this looks even off camera. Anticipation is building. Just a little more than 10 weeks to go!

6 characters will be available at launch. Single player modes wont be available until later this year or early next. There is no definitive date as to when the other 2 characters will be released. DH said they are hoping to take the roster to 16 characters by holiday season 2014. Hopefully sometime between now and then they will add finishers. Right now they are focusing all their efforts on tweaking gameplay.

Okay so let me get this straight.

Forza 5 is the reason I'm NOT buying an XBOX ONE.
Turn 10 is not supporting triple panels display and my guess is because originally the X1 was always-on / DRM. Since MS has rescinded those restrictions Turn 10 obviously won't be able to patch the X1 to allow triple panel support. For the masses this option / feature is not a big deal BUT to guys like me it's damn near heart breaking.

It doesn't matter what console anyone plans on buying. Saying it looks horrid is wrong. Not a subjective opinion but flat out wrong. Him getting agrees for saying it is equally wrong. Every time we see a newer build there is more detail in the graphics. Definitely a vibrant sweet looking game.

You can keep Forza 5 all to yourself. Seriously, enjoy. I wouldn't play it if MS and Turn 10 gave me the game, console and that abomination of a wheel Thrustmaster has designed for the X1. You won't find a bigger Forza fan on N4G than me. Maybe as big a fan but not a bigger fan.
Forza 5 doesn't support triple panels, doesn't support existing 360 wheels and the wheel coming out for the X1 by Thrusmaster doesn't have a clutch pedal...

If MS hasn't shown us all by now how Kinect can be an integral part in gaming they never will. Kinect will be nothing more than a gimmicky extension / tacked on feel to hardcore gaming that isn't necessary to use and wouldn't be better served with traditional controls and a standard microphone.

Just finished my 3rd play through. This game is a visual masterpiece and an incredible game from start to finish. Here is to hoping the sequel hits the PS4 early on in it's life cycle.

If TitanFall was multiplat, IMO, I feel Destiny would be killing it in hype. No doubt about it. TitanFall looks fun but Destiny looks to be stunning (visually) story driven series like Halo and has both on and offline modes.

Well this seals it for me. I'm not touching Forza 5 nor am I getting an XBOX ONE this year.
No backwards compatibility with existing 360 wheels. In walks their now compatible X1 (Forza 5) wheel but it doesn't have a clutch and no stand alone manual shifter? Add that with Forza 5 not supporting triple panel displays and I come to the sum total of no sale for me.
This F458 isn't even as advanced as Thrustmasters T500 and it's no where near as go...

4 is more than enough.
99% of the time I only need one. On the rare occasion I play my friends or my son in a sports game or fighting game head to head (not online), I need 2. Been that way for me since the N64 when we would play 4 player wrestling. I have a feeling I'm in the majority in this regard so anything more than 2 is bordering on overkill.
