You're missing the point entirely. The only decent wheel that will be available for the XBOX ONE this year is the Thrustmaster TX 458 Ferrari wheel. It doesn't have a clutch pedal and it appears it doesn't support Thrustmasters TH8RS (7+1) Shifter. But that could change before the X1 is released. But even if the shifter is made to work with it what's the point of having a shifter if you don't have a clutch pedal?

I will be playing Drive Club for free since I'm a PS+ subscriber. If it appeals to me I will buy it. I am a pass on the X1 and Forza 5 until there is a decent wheel (w/ a clutch pedal & stand alone 6+1 shifter) made available. I can't go back to a controller after using a FFB wheel, pedal, shifter combo.
I was thinking the same thing watching this video. It still made for an interesting view. The best part for me was watching the transition from Halo 3 to Halo 5 game (9 mins to those that don't want to watch the whole video). That made it worth the watch.
The way MC jumped off a cliff at the end of the Halo 3 clip. It almost made it appear that the ground cratered but it was the start of Halo 5 clip. Great editing.

It's obvious there is more demand for the X1 and PS4 so as soon as MS and Sony can put more units into retail as there are Wii U sales, they will surpass the Wii U in sales. When that will happen we can only speculate but one thing is near certain. By Holiday season 2014 the Wii U be looking up at the PS4 and XBOX ONE.
This is hard to sit back and enjoy.

Replica or not it should have a clutch pedal since it's supposedly the official Forza 5 wheel and Forza supports clutch and 6+1 shifters.

My current Forza 4 wheel, pedals, shifter combo cost $1100. This is actually cheap in comparison but it's not as good as what I currently own so I wont be wasting my money on it. I will wait for MS to have a wheel combo with a clutch pedal and stand alone shifter.

Those are 5 good reasons but I would throw in flexibility / non proprietary hardware some where on my list. Probably 2nd behind 1st party studios. For me personally it is that big of a deal.
