Its definitely over priced. I have it's twin brother the TH8RS and I'm on my 2nd one. For the same price you can purchase a Fanatec ClubSport shifter and it's built like a tank compared to this offering from Thrustmaster.

My CS shifter should be here the first week in October.
It was never available on Amazon and no other store even has it listed. So it's not technically available quite yet. I've been waiting on this shifter for months and have been checking daily for the past couple weeks wondering if someone would eventually have it in stock and ready for shipping.
Thrustmaster is doing a horrible job with this shifter and their pedals when it comes to supply and demand here in the states. Hopefully Fanatec will send me an invite to preor...
I'm getting it on the PS4 regardless if Sony has the exclusive content or not. I never make my decision based off of who gets DLC 1st. I'm getting it on the PS4 because I prefer multiplats this generation on the PS4 over the XBOX ONE.
Sony did an exceptional job refining their controller and overall I'm just digging the PS4 more than the X1. Odd turn of events considering I preferred MS hardware to Sony the previous 2 generations.

I didn't get into all the fuss last generation about blades of grass or sites like Lens of Truth blowing up a freeze frame shot to x magnification just to show the most miniscule differences.
Now suddenly this generation it doesn't matter when the disparity is upwards of 40 to 60% higher pixel counts. It's staggering to see the deference as to now it's all about the fun factor. It all falls under the "it only matters...
Actually you might be surprised how many racing games over the years on the consoles are 30fps vs 60fps. You might want to do a little homework before spouting off next time.
1 of my favorite series of all time is Project Gotham Racing (30fps). 2 other great racing games - Sega Rally Rev and Rallisport Challenge were 30fps. Forza Horizon 2 which is about to be released in a couple weeks is 30fps as was the original.

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone not having their heads in the sand. MS won't do any substantial numbers in Japan. It's not in the cards for them there. I don't think China will be any different.
The same can be said about big budget games. Again games are games. The more the merrier. You down playing them doesn't discount that simple fact. I love PSN and XBL games. They are a much needed diversion.

Horizon is going to be a blast but racing GOTY
I think will go to Project Cars. That game is unbelievable. I played it on the PC and waiting to see how it looks and feels on the consoles. They have been working on that game for years. This is Slightly Mad Studios Swan Song. It's one of the best playing game on wheels I have ever played.
Horizon 2 might be a close second but I don't see it surpassing Project Cars for the top spot.

Most people that are downplaying this game are doing so with bias eyes. Notice I said most and not all. This almost always happens when a once exclusive developer goes multiplat.

Have you tried using a can of compressed air on your pedals? You can pick them up at any electronics store or the electronics section in most retail shops. Even some dollar stores carry compressed air. It's how I keep most of my electronics cleaned. Give it a shot. They are only a couple dollars a can and usually do the trick in a matter of seconds. It might save you a lot of disassembling. Compressed air is a godsend for gaming consoles and PCs. I take my PC out...
Have you ever tried or used a Thrustmaster (T500RS or T300) or a Fanatec P911 or GTR, CSR Elite or Clubsport Wheel?
Those wheels add another dimension that Logitech simply can't compete with. At least IMO. But I have used them all extensively. No doubt Logitech is one of the most accurate wheels on the market but you don't get the level of realism, brute force feedback or tactile response the other wheels I listed give you.

Destiny is definitely going to give Sony a significant boost in sales for the PS4. I'm even thinking of picking up a bundle just to get the white PS4 and I already own one.
I'm really looking forward to that game. I see advertisements for it several times a day over the past month. Sony appears to be going all in with their marketing leading up to the release of Destiny and I think it's going to pay off for them in a big way.
This series hasn't evolved enough over the past several years. As of today this news does nothing for me especially since it's cross platform. What's the point. I'm more interested in MK and SF coming to this generation and KI being expanded upon further.

The only wheels compatible with the PS4 as of now is Thrustmasters T500RS and T300. Fanatec is bringing out a wheel that will be compatible with the PS4 but it's uber expensive. The complete set will run you $1000 to $1200 dollars.
