Yeah it sounds like a broken record but who can argue? 08 and 09 clearly favored the PS3 and 2010 was a toss up. I personally preferred Sony's lineup in 2010 so for me it was 3 years straight. 2011 is no contest.
For what ever some feel MS will announce for 2010 into 2011, Sony will most likely match or surpass considering they have more support. Sony's 2010 lineup is staggering.

You can pretend and try to delude what ever you would like to support your bias but most people "I know" had their 360 units replaced with extended warranties purchased from retailers like Best Buy, Gamestop, etc. Where they give you a brand new unit off the shelf instead of sending it in for repairs.

I am stuck. I cant decide bewteen a Panasonic VT25, Samsung UNC9000 or a Sony LX900.
I have been gaming since Pong in the 70's and GT5 is the best console racer I have played. There are a couple racers that I enjoyed but not quite as much but hands down GT5.
GT5 edges them all out "in my opinion".
What I don't get about these articles giving 1/5/11 (my BD, man I'm getting old) as a release date is why does not one site or store have it listed as coming soon, being able to preorder it, or listed at all in any way?
I really find it hard to believe this product is coming out in 9 days yet there is no information any where that this product exist other than limited information on scattered sites. Even Thrustmasters site doesn't have a date listed or any place...
$500 was my cut off. Over $500 and like you, I will wait on ISR's review before opening my wallet. I already own a 911 S an now a GT2. The GT2 is amazing with the added weighted feel it has over the 911 S. I don't see a need to put out even more money for a wheel that only works for the PS3 and the PC.
This wheel must either be the most amazing product out there or Thrustmaster is off their rocker. Knowing me though, I most likely will end up purchasing one.

IMHO Sony has ran away with 08, 09 and I favor them in 2010 because of how they started (GOW3, Heavy Rain, MLB) and finishing it up with the best sim racer I have ever played on a console, GT5.

I can't help but roll my eyes and laugh out loud at these lame articles regarding GT5. Seriously, am I the only one that finds it odd with the people that are "supposedly" disappointed with GT5? It sure as hell isn't PS3 and GT fans that are disappointed with it and I will leave it at that.

Yet insidesimracing, arguably the best sim racing site on the net, says GT5's presentation and menu system is phenomenal. Yeah that is what a racing simulator is about it's menu's and presentation and not it's racing.

I'm rocking a Fanatec GT2. I will be rocking a Thrustmaster T500 RS next month. I love racing games and great toys to play them on! GT5 on a wheel is hands down the best racing game I have played this generation.

I had a couple friends come over that mostly play arcade racers but now not only are they hooked on GT5 but 2 of them ordered the same wheel I have and another is coming over tonight to see what all the fuss is about.
GT5 on a wheel has no substitute.

I took a week off while waiting on my new wheel and now I am back to turning laps none stop. GT5 is hands down the best racer I have played on a console this generation and it's only getting better with the updates from PD and my shiny new GT2 from Fanatec.
BTW people, incase you didn't read all that 1.05 has to offer? You should play GT5 as much as possible because you get extra $$$ for your events now but it's only for a limit...
