how was the end terrible? it followed in the spirit of the book. though the movie end changed from the book end, it still captured the same overall message.
firefox for apple is actually surprisingly subpar. safari for apple is miles better than safari for windows though. on my windows partition i have the ff3b4, and it works like a charm. i won't bother with firefox on apple though because everything it does can be done better with a few little tweaks to safari.

thats so true. one of my major qualms with the halo series is that you move so slowly. the first time i played the original halo ages ago with 3 friends (you know, split screen, old school) i was shocked at how slowly he moved, especially since i was a hardcore quake iii player before..
she actually posted the same character tree as will be available in the 8 player co-op. i was impressed with that. otherwise, not much can be said about her rumors.

i wouldn't use safari on windows platform. its woefully under developed compared to its os x counterpart.
i use itunes because its the best. i use quicktime + perian plugin because its the best. i use safari/webkit on my mac because its the best. cater to your needs.
plus windows forces you to use IE for software updates. i noticed that when i tried to go to the update windows thingy. firefox 3 beta wouldn't work with it :-(
