You could also say the same about the PS3. After Killzone 2....but I agree. The PS3 eventually, will be where all the highend games end up. It'll take a long time and there might be some pitfalls (Lair) but eventually it'll get there.

Maybe its the gore but this game looks like a rocking a good time to play. Thats one thing I didn't like about the Heavenly demo and movies I looked at. While I can pull of all kind cool moves and send my foes flying all over, it just doesn't look like I'm doing any real damage to them. Its as if I'm beating up an army of rag dolls.

I already played it on my PC. Last time I checked no console can match my PC for textures and graphics. Full scene 4X AA roxor. If this game comes out on the PS3 I'll have to play it in low res 780p, instead of 1680X1050.
In the end while Bioshock is a decent game it is waaaaay overrated. Shooters without multiplayer are kinda lame and Bioshock doesn't even have the decency to come with a level editor which is the basic requirement for FPS these days. Hell, even Gears of War f...

Half Life 2 is one of those games that is clearly better on the PC. Controls and graphics being one, mods and retail packages like Day of Defeat and Left for For Dead being the other. Well there is of course that little game called Counter Strike Source if you're into that kinda thing.
Basically if you're buying Orange Box for the console you'll be paying more for the lesser version of the Half Life experience which typical of most PC to console port.
WTF is NBA Live 08? The premier sport franchise in the states is Madden 08 and they screwed that one up. This never should've happened in the first place. I'm sure PS3 fans would rather have Madden delayed a weeks rather than have it released in the state it's in.
Console is for wannabes and casual gamers. If you want to have the best and latest gaming tech along with mods the PC is the place to be. Think about it, the PC's tech turn is about twice per year. With Nvidia next GPU being released in November the technology in the 360 and PS3 will already be three or four generations behind.
I downloaded the PC version with D2D while playing Warhawk. Try doing that with the Xbox version. Another plus is I'll never have to put a disk in my machine to play. With my 8800 GTX the game is silky smooth even with 4X AA and all the settings maxed. When the Nvidia's next chipset come out I'll be able to play Bioshock at 1080p 60 fps at over 8X AA without breaking a sweat.
LOL this hype is getting quite silly. I played damn the beta and it wasnt all that. The only thing I like about Halo is that everyone is in bring colors so its easier to pwn them than in Gears or GRAW2.
User created tracks suck. Why? Because after a while they all look the same and recycle the same texture content. Sure the turns and jumps might be different but the overall feel of the track is very bland. On the PC this might be resolved by dedicated moders with custom textures and models but on the console this isn't possible. Anyways, professionally designed track is the reason why Motorstorm rocks.
Because of mods. Its time to built that nextgen PC for Crysis anyways, now if only Nvidia would officially announce their ubah nextgen chipset the G92 then I'll be all set.
If this keep up the only thing I'll be using my PS3 for is for watching Blu-ray movies and playing Madden 08. That is until KZ2 come out, but I'm guessing after Crysis I won't even care.

This tech sounds like it'll require a modern quad core PC with decent amount of RAM to run. Even then you'll need a badass GPU to render a game with 100 peeps and all hell breaking loose.
