it's a commercial, and they are talking about how horrible and shocking the war was. I don't think that insults anyone at all.
and video games have been crossing the reality/fantasy border for quite some time, at least the halo gameplay is still video gamish looking, wheras other games(GTA IV, condemned, etc...) I think bring much mroe realism to their games and trivialize violence more than a halo commercial.

the elite is geared more towards the person who is using it as a media hub and a games machine in preparation for more IPTV use, that's why.
the bigger HDD and the HDMI fill that need.
they obviously realized the mistake of not having HDMI in the early additions, but it is still not necessary. my buddy has the elite, and I have an older premium without HDMI, and I have yet to see a difference graphically in them. just he connects with 1 cable, and I don't.
there are poorly trained idiots in every call center.
