COD runs at 1080 on my PS3.
It is up-scaled, but still 'runs' at that resolution.
I would certainly hope it is the best ever - it is going up against consoles that are 7 years old, and if can't better them in that timespan then serious questions would need to be asked of Nintendo.
No, actually you fail. The previous articles stated 1Gb for games and that's exactly what it has.
So those that commented on the leaks of the last week or so saying it has 1Gb ram and that thus it was fake will be retracting their statements, or?
Incorrect. Limited means there is only a finite amount made and available for sale not continuous production like the regular edition will have.
Once it is gone, it is gone.
I could make 100 million units of my product and not a single one more.
I am then free to say that my product is a limited edition and has limited availability as it is _limited_ to 100 million units.
I wouldn't say cheaper, but definitely a lot more easily. And good on them for making it a standard format rather than some Sony memory card cartel.
I worry though about where the lack of storage leaves it in years to come, if we really do edge toward the download only era.
That wholesaler print screen had 3 SKUs, so we may see one with increased storage, you never know.
The only game that can dethrone COD is COD itself by going Tony Hawks and Guitar Hero on itself.
Rare has job postings for next-gen projects - so yeah, they'll have a launch title I'm sure, probably utilizing Kinect 2.
I flew out to see my father as a surprise.
I had a plane ticket for the 1st at 9PM.
The airline delayed the flight for 12 hours. I got there a day late.
He knew not of my delay as he was not aware of my arrival time, but I arrived late and was delayed as I was aware of my intended arrival time.
We know not of MS's intended arrival time, but - if you believe the article - they have fallen/are falling back on their planned ...
I love that this comment has a high ratio of disagrees.
I think they're looking at it from another angle.
Whilst there is a massive install base, there are also gallons of guff being released all the time and the release schedules are busy.
With a new generation the schedules are quiet after release period and so new games can be given a 'chance' among other launch or near-launch titles.
I 'figured it out' based upon historical figures.
And if the above is legit, it is proven correct.
Oh yeah, and I have top men on it.
But no, seriously. It makes sense.
I'm not asserting it to be gospel - I'm just stating it as a very strong, entirely plausible and rational option.
The PS4 is more guess work as it is in a unique situation what with not having to plunge down major dollars on th...
$50 for a bundled game?
No way. I wouldn't pay $50 for it unbunbled.
I wonder if we'll see extra disk space involved.
It'll be $249. Just like the Wii was.
720 will be $299 just like the 360 was.
The PS4 will be $349, I'd suggest, given no major 'new' components (ie BluRay and Cell).
So he thinks they'll delay it so they can meet demand. Interesting.
Why not take the Nintendo approach and use the lack of units available to make it seem like your console is super cool and popular and fuel the fire and get free PR off the back of it?
Where does Nintendo manufacture these? Japan?
The strong Yen means its more costly to export to elsewhere, which means $200 could be a barmy price.
Nice trolling.
Pity this game isn't on the Xbox.
I agree with this, not only would it give them that extra time to try and improve it as best they can they'll also enter the zone where people will be starting to get bored of Black Ops 2 on their home console, and the new experience might perk them up a little bit.
Impressive, but only a drop in the ocean compared to the amount the 'proper' consoles achieved.
errr... when did I mention power?
