Well, honestly- that sorta sucks. On a personal level- my wife enjoys games as much as I do, but for her- it's easier to delve into the role when she can relate to it more. Hell, I get that- I prefer games that I can customize my character over games that I can't. Thing is- she's not the only female gamer out there who feels that way. Pretty sure they'd strengthen their sales if they at least gave the option of gender.
Both platforms had a common theme going for them really... Granted, Sony did stray from games a bit with TV talk, but both seem to be bringing previous gen 'golden oldies' and putting them on the new systems. Both have some pretty decent exclusives coming, but really... They just show a bit MORE of the exclusives we already knew were coming. What's worst is, they're games that we won't be able to play until fall of 2015... That's still well over a year. Chances are...
renting an old video game seems kinda silly to me. surely there's going to be a 'purchase' option. download it to the hd and have it forever
If the game's fun to play... Then I could care less about the rest of it. We're not talking original Doom visuals here. But this is the internet... So graphics are more important than gameplay.
I think we're side stepping the issue that we even have to pay to play the damn game in the first place.
A game like Titanfall SHOULD be on all platforms, but there really it seems to me that EA decides who gets what exclusivity over Titanfall and Titanfall 2 unless their contractual agreement w/ Respawn is up before Titanfall 2 is made. Basically, there's still a 50/50 chance that Titanfall will also be exclusive to the X1.
I can agree with this... With maps so big, now can spawning be an issue???

The game looks beautiful. But it was changed so much, they ended up dishing out a basic hack/slash game... Maybe the sequel will be better.
Very true... Possible theories for that would be that there was no Twitter at that time.
I can understand sequels to games like Zelda, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Metroid, and even Mario... But novelty games like this are the pure definition of 'milking' a franchise.
