Also, the buttons close together is a good thing. Quicker to go from one button to the next.

Not seeing the issue here. If you're gonna play the game, you're gonna do it regardless. PS4 and XB1 will always look relatively the same and both will lack compared to what can be done w/ PC.
Devs say that the PS4 is 50% faster...

I think the XB1's set-up is ideal. The DS4 is a solid controller, but I never understood why they put the emphasis on the D-pad when it's secondary to the joy sticks. But that's just me, people who have a PS3 are used to the set-up and it makes sense to them.
