Screw these guys. So they hurt EA by hurting users like me? I wanted to play BF4 last night and couldn't because of these pricks. I love to meet these jerks in person.
I had this game for my pc years ago and it rocked. I would love this dlc.
Bring it on Dice. You owe it to your game for the botched bf4 release.
The reason why the author's comparison is flawed is because it assumes that both games are using all of the system's resources. The Last of Us is an excellent game that came at the trail end of a console's life cycle. There is no way that game would have liked like that if it was released as a launch title. DR3 is a launch title and I would bet that Capcom could have fixed the game had they had additional time to do so. Additionally, the way a game looks and performs had a lot mor...
Great game, but the comparison is meaningless. KZ was out twice as much as the competition. The site talks about it only being one additional week, but you need to scale that time period for comparison. PS4 games had a two week window to sell in. XB1 games only had 1 week. The better comparison will be next month when we can compare KZ after 4 weeks and Forza for the same period of time.
Sounds cool, but I don't think this could easily be added to existing hardware the same way that X1 does it. First of all, I don't see how HDMI could be added to an external camera. I doubt that the cable between the camera and HDMI can handle the bandwidth of the HDMI interface. I guess anything is possible.
It would be nice if people actually read the article, rather than just grabbing the headline. The author of the article suggests that the disparity in speed is attributed to the amount of cores being used by each machine. For example, he believes that the X1 is likely using just 1-2 cores whereas the PS4 is likely using more. His theory is based on the amount of heat being generated by each machine.
We all realize that the PS4 has more graphic cores and faster Ram, but some o...
Let me come straight out and say that I believe that the PS4 will be more powerful than the X1 and it certainly is cheaper. Those are good How many of you disconnect your console from the net? Do you guys constantly move your console from room to room?reasons to go the Sony route. That said, it seems to me that people are over reacting to several other X1 aspects. The three aresa I don't get are the concerns about internet connections, DRM, and the kinect camera.
I am...
The writer of this opinion piece has to reduce good medication because the current levels are causing him to be delusional.
Only a gaming site could believe our even suggest that a game that made two billion dollars "failed". By that logic Apple failed in the mp3 market because it only had 90% of the mp3 player market.
The real problem here is that some PS3 owners have bought into the Sony bs "your ps3 is a supercomputer" nonsense. I cant believe that a console owner couldn't undertand that a $2,000 computer (with a graphics card worth more than a ps3) couldn't out-perform a ps3. The ps3 is a beast, but it is no match for a moderately powered pc with a good graphics card. The pc has more ram and generally has more graphics based ram as well. That said, the ps3/360 versions are still a bett...
I agree 100%. Handheld consoles should have one demographic - children. Parents will plop down $150 to keep their kids quite in the car or out at dinner. They won't pay $250, which is why the 3ds will never succeed at the current price point.
Who is the demographic for the vita? How many young adults are willing to drop $250 for a handheld when they have a $70 iPhone bill every month? I am not saying that the vita isn't awesome or that a smartphone can be a better...
This is ridiculous. PSN has 70+ million subscribers and Sony didn't know of the vulnerability? At a minimum, they were bluntly made aware of the vulnerability roughly two weeks ago when the PSN came crashing to a halt. Why then, after coming into this knowledge, did the other Sony property get hacked for an additional 24 million accounts?
I am a 360 owner, but this isn't about MS vs. Sony vs. Nintendo. The Sony line here is BS and people that love the Sony brand s...
I can see it now. Tomorrow's biggest story on N4G will be that "Sony did another amazing job". LOL.
While I appreciate Sony's gesture, this isn't as big of a gesture as some are trying to make it out to be. Sony's gaffs in having lackluster security in the PSN would likely mean that some customers would cancel their paid membership and/or buy less items through PSN. By giving PSN premium membership for free for 30 days, they aren't giving a present. They are attempting to hook customers back into the network.
So let me get this straight. Assuming the story is even correct, I am supposed to be impressed that the Wii2 will be 80% more powerful than a 7 year old console (the 360 was launched in 2005 and the Wii2 isn't coming out until 2012)? Considering a seven year gap, shouldn't the Wii2 be 200-300% more powerful than the 360 and PS3? That is what I am expecting from the Nextbox and PS4. An 80% increase in performance over my 360 won't get me to run to the store to get a NextBox.
Anyone that says that the PS3 is more powerful than a gaming PC is just manipulating. Anyone that believes that PS3 is more powerful than a PC is just stupid. Sure, the PS3 is powerful, but my graphics board has 4X times the memory and could run circles around the cell. If the PC version doesn't look the best in the end it is simply because the developer didn't pay enough attention to the platform.
Did anyone else notice that 343 studios - the next studio that is rumored to carry Halo forward - made these maps. Bungie isn't mentioned.
How can this be? Wasn't 2010 the "years of the PS3"? Or was that 2009? I can't keep track any more. Seriously though, the PS3 is a great machine that does offer a lot of value. What happened over the past six months hoever, where the 360 mopped the floor with the PS3 should finally convince sony fanboys that the 360 isn't going to die a quick death.
For years I have heard about all of the PS2 owners who are going to need to choose 360 or PS3. Seriou...
I have no idea who will "win" the console wars in the end. I assume that "win" means the most consoles sold, although I think a better barometer of winning should be who made the most profit. Even if Sony winds up selling more PS3's than 360's sold, it would be hard to not judge MS's console campaign as a success. MS has doubled the amount of consoles they sold in their second generation. I heard sony fanboys claiming that the 360 would fail. That of cours...
Why is it so easy for people to believe that PS Now can steam a PS4 title, bit "latency" will stop the cloud from befitting the XB1?
