Sony has struck marketing gold with the Kevin Butler mascot/character. The ads are funny and still get the point across as to why everyone needs to buy a PS3.
The PS4 will dominate next gen. I'm just hoping that Sony prices it at $400 or so instead of $600 this time so that it will receive better initial sales.
Edit: @ plenty a tool No, I don't stand to make any money, but I DO stand to get higher quality games from Sony since they have a bunch of first party studios and MS only has a couple.
I could care less about cross game chat. I want a universal party system. That's more important than cross game chat.
Yeah these PS1 Classics are all well and good and I've bought a few of them, BUT I wish they'd start releasing PS2 Classics like GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas as well as all the other great PS2 games on the PS Store for around maybe $20. I'd buy several of them.
Yeah, most stores have young employees who are 360 fanboys. It's extremely bad in Gamestops. Their employees could care less for ANY game on the PS3. It's sad really.
Interesting, I guess. lol I guess it's cool they're doing this. Is the Top Gun game and movie on the same bluray disc? That'd be neat.
@nick I probably won't buy any of the cars since there's plenty packed on the disc already, but it will help ease the pain of waiting for then next one for those people who complain that there's not a yearly release for Gran Turismo, like the oh-so-milked franchise CoD. I stand by what I said too. I want GT6 on the PS4 as a launch title. We won't have to wait as long as you think. The PS4 will be out in like 2012/1013, so if GT6 releases alongside it, you'll only ha...
I'm hoping GT5 gets supported the hell out of with loads of dlc and that GT6 is developed as a PS4 launch title. If I've gotta wait several more years, I want GT6 to be on the PS4, with even better graphics and more features.
He looks just like Barack Obama when he's sitting in the seat. lol

I really envy him though since he's getting to use a wheel. I wish I could afford one. But if I do get one, I want a G25/G27 so I have a clutch and true manual.

@Rumor I wasn't trying to be funny. He really does. imo
I'd rather GT6 be a PS4 launch title. If the PS4 launches with GT6 alongside it, Sony will have a heavy hitter that will drive sales of the PS4. They need a big game to go with the PS4 because you know Microsoft will launch the 720 with another Halo game.
Yep, first party studios is the way to go. Buying exclusivity from third parties is not a smart long-term solution.
The day Activision starts charging to play CoD online on the PS3, is the day I will STOP playing CoD games. Personally, I like Battlefield BC2 (PS3) better anyway. And like the guy above me said, if this article is true, it would mean that regardless of whether Xbox Live Gold people PLAY CoD, they're STILL giving Activision a little bit of money.

Hell what if other devs. demand a little piece of the pie and want some of Live's subscription fees?...
I don't think you understood what I was saying, man. I'm saying that the Kinect alone will NOT work for the long term. They will HAVE to come up with some sort of physical controller to go alongside it. I wasn't saying it was just like the Eyetoy. I was saying that the Kinect will need a controller to go with it eventually if MS wants it to be able to be used with hardcore games like Halo or Gears.

"No one wanted Move's Kung-fu 'on-...
lol Nice avatar, man. haha I used to watch Salad Fingers in high school. It's kinda creepy.
Yeah, I've been waiting a release date for awhile now. I'll be buying this for sure.
lol Now that was funny.
Don't be a smartass, man. Starhawk WILL be a great game, just like Warhawk. If you don't own a PS3, get one. Then catch up on all the games it sounds like you're missing out on by your sarcastic comment.
To be expected. lol No one wants to play a driving game where you JUST drive and don't control the gas and brake. I see MS coming out with some sort of motion controller to go alongside Kinect. It just makes sense. The Eyetoy (on the PS2) started out by itself and then Sony got smart and added a controller to go alongside the PS Eye (on the PS3). You just really need something tactile to have any sort of precision in gaming at this point in time.

@ QDOGG ...
I hope GT6 is being developed for the PS4 as a launch title. That would guarantee that alot of people would buy a PS4 when it comes out. They need to start working on GT6 NOW so it really will launch with the PS4 and not be delayed like it has been on the PS3. A PS4/GT6 launch would make it pretty tough on the nextBox to sell more as long as both system launch together, which I'm hoping for this next time.
The single player in Medal of Honor is great. The story is so realistic and you truly feel like you're engaged in an authentic battle. It forgoes all of Call of Duty's over-the-top action nonsense and goes more a more true-to-life experience. The online is okay, not great. Though, the only online that has kept my attention lately is KZ3 beta and I'm still playing Battlefield BC2.
