Wish I could afford a 3DTV right now. But alas my 50" LG LED will have to do for now. I'm sure Uncharted 3 will still look stellar in 2D. Having said that, 3DTV's have gone down tremendously in price. You can get a pretty good one for right at $1000.
@iamsuperman (below)
I'm pretty sure Uncharted 3 was built from the ground up for 3D.
Awh, Sad face not warranted. I'm sure it'll work great when it comes out. At least they're not going to charge for it. Paid dlc is the bane of this generation. Some devs. are nice enough to give free dlc, such as Portal 2's free dlc that just came out.
I just hope that the theatre mode doesn't become Elite only. I don't want features taken away that the older games had, just to become Elite "features". I'm not going to buy Elite, because I don't buy into the whole DLC map pack thing. I'll buy the game (regular version) and play it like hell, but I'm not giving them more money for stuff that could've been on the disc when I picked it up. lol
I'm gonna get it ASAP. GT5 is still a great game and we keep getting FREE upgrades. I don't mind DLC that's free. It's the paid kind that kind of irks me.
Short and to the point, and so true. This seemed like it was gonna bring something new to the table, yet hasn't so far and it's been over 2 years.
bahaha Now that's funny. Bubbles, buddy. Something tells me that the menu's won't be critiqued in this game, tough. Bias at its best, I'm afraid. lol

@ironwolf
Yeah, that's what I was saying. They wouldn't say anything bad about them. (critiqued)
I don't think any game should get a 10/10. I don't even think Uncharted or Gears games would deserve a perfect score. A 9.5 should be the highest any game gets.
That said, hopefully it's as good as this guy says it is. I just hate the fact DLC is already planned and everyone just accepts that. And Sony's not innocent on this either. Announcing DLC before release on PS3 and 360 games should not happen. Put that content in the game!!! It...
Consoles are still more than viable enough to play these games. Sure it may not be on max settings and have the highest player count, but for the vast majority of people, we'd rather play on consoles.
Yeah, don't misunderstand me, I'm just saying I hope the enemies in our games next gen are even smarter and more cunning. More realistic even.
I hope that's one thing devs concentrate on next generation. This gen has gotten us great visuals and sound. I'm hoping for lots of great physics (destructibility) and artificial intelligence in all next generation games. My two cents.
True. But I think they're used to mostly buying multiplats anyway. There's still a few exclusives, just not many. I think MS is holding off on their exclusives on the 360 so they can have a good launch lineup for the 720--at least I hope that's their plans. (If the lineup is good enough, I'll buy the 720 day one!) There's a lot of money that's spent on timed dlc that could be spent on first party studios and exclusive games. Why they don't do that, I...
Pay attention, bud. I said "more" realistic. Neither games are realistic, since they're both just that: "games". And I personally love the big maps. I don't feel so confined and it's not all corridor gameplay. And it takes a lot of skill to snipe someone from so far away. It's not like in CoD where a sniper rifle shoots perfectly straight no matter how far away. There's actually noticeable bullet drop, which has to be accounted for w...
Battlefield is just so much more realistic. The graphics look better, the sounds sound much more crisp and realistic, and the game itself is just focused on more realistic scenarios. Call of Duty is the Transformers of the war game genre. It's all flashy and hip, but with less substance. It's a great game, but for realism, I go with Battlefield. For just fun with friends, occasionally I'll pop in MW2 (and soon MW3).
LOL Yeah, he's just trying to start a flame war by throwing in the "inferior Gran Turismo 5" part. haha I guarantee if GT5 and Forza 4 were both multiplatform, GT would still be the better game. Polyphony Digital just spends so much time on their games. They're so committed. GT is just such an elegant game. It celebrates the beauty of cars. Sure, I'll admit it sucks that all the cars don't have the premium interior, but as far as the driving go...
Yeah, they don't have caps now, but with more and more streaming services (games, music, movies), they're all bound to have them in the near future. It sucks, alot! That's why I will still buy most of my games on physical copies. Bluray discs all the way for me, until these companies stop putting bandwidth caps and until downloaded content can be re-sold and lent to friends. You don't really "own" downloaded or streamed content. You're just given th...
You're obviously delusional. Many PS3 games have shown great gameplay and great visual fidelity can go hand in hand. InFamous 2 looks great and plays great too. So many other examples just this year.
@MAJ0R
Yeah, but more blood and gore would probably move the rating from T to M and fewer people would be able to purchase it as easily.
Ok, let me try that again: < I won't rent it, and I won't buy.> Is that better, guys?? haha
I do have a 360, btw. Gamertag: Blu Matt
Feel free to check it if it makes you feel better. Stealth disagrees, with no reasoning. Gotta love 'em. haha
I'll definitely give it a go and if I like it enough, I'll pick it up. There's just so much coming out that I can't hardly afford all of these games. It's gonna...
Yeah, Resistance 3's campaign was actually very good, despite some of the reviews. I had a lot of fun with it. Now, the online isn't quite up to par with some other games, but it's not too bad either, just a little laggy (Or it was when I played it couple weeks ago. It may be patched now.).
Battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3, with the occasional Resistance 3. haha
Agreed Starhawk looks great. Yet another awesome PS3 exclusive coming out in the near future. And Uncharted 3 is a day one!
