The WiiU was a pretty massive disappointing console and I think it will go down as one of Nintendo's worst console generations. It doesn't even help that about 5 games going off the rumors are being ported/enhanced for the switch so it will be even less memorable. No one is going to remember it probably.
Just tried the demo on steam, was very impressed with it. For me it ran extremely smooth at 60 fps with high settings. The game itself definitely has a more puzzle/horror element to it. That's what I loved about the first resident evil so much about. The combat is definitely something to fear again as well. In 4, 5, and 6, you pretty much are killing enemies around every corner but in 7, it seems they are used less often and that every encounter you have it will feel like big threat inste...
Glad to hear this has a timeframe to release. Game looks great but man its been in dvelopment for a good while now. I feel like alot of people may have forgotten it.
But is the campaign a throw-away campaign? Just to appeal to the single player people in mind without trying? That's the question.
I'm gonna be honest, if it weren't for the combat in FFXV, I don't think I would've enjoyed the game nearly as much. I'm only in chapter 7, but so far the story is fairly easy to follow. In my opinion, at least with the 13 series and type-0, the story always felt so convoluted with many information residing in the lore text. It's like they expect you to know what every term means in the ff universe but if you didn't read the lore or achieves, you will be very confu...
Yep, I actually got $10 from them. I was very surprised.
Thank you Sony! Merry Christmas!
Man graphically that looks astounding. Does anyone know if it it turned-based or free-flow combat?
The game is not even out yet and we are already speculating if it will get a standalone expansion? Lets wait for the game to release first then we can talk about dlc.
sigh.........I got nothing to say about this.
Define reboot for a series like Call of Duty, because I honestly don't understand how they can reboot it.
I'm gonna be honest, lately I have been preordering games, at least on PS4 anyways. I get a discount from preordering online at BestBuy so for a $60 game, it always total up to $50.99 instead which is much better. As far as PC goes, I usually wait a few days before buying on PC to see how it is running performance-wise. If it's bad, I wait a month and then return to see how the current state is.
To me, I kinda hate waiting 3-4 months for a discount just to save may...
Personally I think it should launch alongside the consoles. At least announce it and say it will be released later.
So why is it not coming to PC via steam then??? Valkyria Chronicles was a pretty big hit on steam selling just about 900K copies. For a niche series that pretty impressive and I absolutely enjoyed it. Hell, I thought that because of the success of it on steam made Sega decide to create a new entry, yet its not coming to steam? Makes zero sense.
Not a surprise. The game is no longer exclusive, so it's obvious they would release it on multiple platforms. It's especially true if they wish to earn their money back from it considering how long it has been in development for. Though we don't know how much was spent on it so it's hard to say exactly
I tried the multiplayer beta before it was released, and no lie it felt exactly like black ops 3. It felt like an add-on with the same similar movement for the thrusts. The maps were terrible too, felt way too cramped and to cater only toward the run-n-gun playstyle. Graphically I thought it looked good but I just was not impressed with the overall game. I will stick with black ops 3 for now for my cod fix if I ever need it. I do however wish activision will release modern warfare remastered ...
Wow, well if they ever do another kickstarter I don't think anyone will back it. No one is gonna trust them again, at least not right now. What a disaster. Very unfortunate.
However in other news, Yooka-Laylee will be officially released on April 11th, 2017.
You don't see Nintendo praising other company's work very often. Wish they do it more on a regular basis like Sony and Microsoft.
In my opinion, the only way how digital sales will overtake psychical sales is if they lower the standard $60 USD price tag for most games to maybe $50 USD. They would also have to adapt a refund policy maybe that is similar to steam's refund policy where you can get a refund if you play under 2 hours within a certain amount of time. And lastly, they need to find a way to make some game file sizes smaller or start having consoles come with a larger HDD due to all the constant patches and ...
Who buys PC games retail these days anyways? Not many. And it's VGChartz too. According to the Steam database it appears the PC version has sold at least 300K copies digitally though. So the data for VGChartz to show retail copies sold especially for PC is pretty pointless. Consoles I understand, but when it comes to PC it obvious about 95% of sales come from digital copies.
SJW at its finest. What's next, people are gonna call rape over tee bagging in multiplayer games?
Oh wait, its already happen...........
