Glad it's no any higher in price as I already pre-ordered it. Ratchet and Clank was a fantastic game for $40 and that was the perfect price. Any higher and I think that would have hurt sales. I hope some of the smaller games can start being priced at $40, including smaller niche titles.
I think they are purposely not revealing much which I'm fine with. I seen maybe one clip with combat and that was it. Depending on how people say the game is and the ending, I'll probably pick it up a week or so later.
The first DLC was fine. The only thing I was a bit disappointed by was the lack of bosses. I hope the 2nd DLC will have at least 3 bosses. Though Sister Friede was a fantastic boss, probably in the top 5 bosses of the souls series easily. That fight was epic.
In before Nintendo takes it down. Better get it now while you can knowing how "Protective" Nintendo is with their IPs, yet they don't give Metroid the respect it deserves.
Yes it is a big deal because the Nintendo online community is already small compared to Sony and Microsoft, so having a paid online service limits it even more which should be the last thing they want to do. And add to that you need a smartphone app just to talk and invite friends which those features should be in the system itself is so lame and tedious. Like why????? Makes no sense whatsoever.
Lame. It's pretty much just a type of goty game which is fine especially for those who never played the dlc tracks, but I feel like this is an excuse to make up for Nintendo's line-up for the first few months.
No, I mean Zelda looks fantastic but you can get that on Wii U. What other reason to get switch at launch? There's really nothing else there atm.
Oh my word.
I'm speechless.
I bet its Metroid Federation Force 2 knowing its Nintendo.
Jokes aside, if that did end up being true, that would be the biggest slap in the face for everyone. But personally, I would love to see a western studio take on Metroid besides Retro Studios, I bet someone could do its series justice that it deserves.
Yes you are right, but at this point it is expected for an entertainment system to have it. PlayStation has it, Xbox has it, PCs have it, smart tvs have it, smartphones and tablets have it, so why can't Nintendo have it as well? Because its a videogame system? Oh wait, so are PlayStation and Xbox. Stop being so blind.
Its these hardcore Nintendo fanboys that keep eating up at everything they do is why Nintendo is acting like this. If they don't stand up and criticiz...
If true, then Nintendo truly does not even have the basic online functionality apps. All these news coming out is making me care less and less about the Nintendo Switch. Again, Nintendo being Nintendo.
I'm perfectly ok with this length. Too many games today often like to pad in filler to extend the playtime which generally I find annoying more than anything. Too many games have gone open-world too. I'm surprised resident evil hasn't gone that route yet in all honesty or at the very least mission-based where you have a hub world to complete/select missions. I would absolutely hate that.
But yeah, I'm very excited for it. I'm going to wait a few days to...
Switch-off. The console has too many problems going for it right now from the terrible decisions with the online functionality and paid service, to low internal storage space and details of the system like specs which many are still very vague at this moment.
The earliest I may Switch-on is after e3 2018, hopefully by then some interesting titles have been released from first party AND third party support. We should have a decent idea of how it is performing by then.
God, that frame-rate though. Yikes.
Ugh already this is worse than PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live. And I'm not expecting their online services to be good either. Like you have to use a smartphone app in order to communicate with friends/people? What is this the 20th century?
Honestly I'm so disappointed. I thought Nintendo would have actually learned their mistakes and other companies mistakes. But no, they clearly have not learned much of anything.
Take a few steps forward, and mul...
The 32 internal storage does not spell good news for 3rd party support for larger games. Nintendo is generally usually good when it comes to this, but other companies are completely opposite, especially if they want to patch their games for bugs, fixes or even dlc updates.
It still has better side quests than other recent jrpgs that's for sure. It's not perfect but no game is. And as others stated, it is unfair to compare it to The Witcher 3.
I'm just glad it is a open sandbox this time around and not linear.
That was my fear with this game. Don't get me wrong I'm glad splatoon is getting more life, but I just feel that it is too soon for a sequel. It doesn't really look any different from the first game graphically, and blah blah COD looks the same every year and yadayada, but splatoon has a specific style and the sequel doesn't look improved at all from a graphical standpoint as it can be very difficult to tell the difference between the first game and the sequel. I feel like if ...
Didn't they say the Wii U wasn't going to be replaced either or something similar along those lines as well? Well look what happened to it, Breath of the Wild and what else?
