Yeah.........they are setting their expectations way too high for this one. In fact they always tend to set their expectations high with their games, only to be disappointed when the sales didn't meet their initial forecast. I'm sure it will sell at least a million, but 4 million? That's a bit of a stretch.
Yep, you are absolutely right about the graphics, atmosphere and presentation. They were all there in the game. Don't know how I didn't mention them. But man, the generators, ugh. There were several frustrating moments where you get swarmed by the same enemies over and over while waiting for the gen to kickstart. I couldn't tell if it was trying to be a survival type of shooter or what half the times.
Unfortunately I do not own a xbox one but I will admit, I wo...
I played Alan Wake on Steam and my god I found it very boring and tedious. The enemy variation was rather poor and I didn't like the shooting flashlight mechanic. It definitely had some cool ideas but I found the levels dragged out too long with little story elements in between. The story itself was somewhat ok but it didn't blow me away or anything. I didn't care for the protagonist and I didn't care about searching for his wife either. I didn't feel for the characters or...
No? When did I say consoles are to blame? FFXV is a major success as it has already sold over 5 million copies. I'm just saying that people shouldn't be all that surprised by this news as consoles has been in a decline in japan for a while now. The mobile and handheld market is much preferred over there.
The consoles as a whole has been in a downward spiral in Japan for a long time now. They prefer mobile and handheld gaming over consoles.
time to git gud ON THE GO
You should change the title to "Will Joel die in The Last of Us Part II?" The current title just screams click-bait when it is an opinion article with no confirmed details about Joel.
This is just plain suicide launching it at $60. No idea what's going through their heads with this one thinking they will make alot of money because its gonna sell hardly any copies. It's a fun fps yes, but it wasn't revolutionary or anything receiving critical reception. Hell, I think alot of people purchased it when it originally released just so they could gain access to the gear of war 3 beta.
I called it when reviews would be all over the place. Regardless I'm excited for this.
I personally don't mind if Sony shows their games a bit early. It creates excitement and gives us something to look forwards to and see the progress down the road leading up to release. Granted, I do think Sony does announce SOME games a bit too early, but I don't really mind. The thing they need to stop doing is giving us release dates, only to be delayed. They should just announce a release date when it's ready.
I am so happy for this, but I'm slightly confused. Is this really it's own standalone game that can be sold separately from uncharted 4? Kinda like what they did with Infamous First Light from the UK?
Perfect. I'm so glad they didn't mess with the movement or mechanics of the game, simply upgrade the graphics. This should please everyone. Looking great so far.
Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm very happy its offical now. The only thing I'm sad is when he said how early in development it is, so I guess we can't expect it to arrive until 2018/2019 at the earliest. But hey, take your time. No rush.
That's just suicide launching it at a full $60 price tag. No one is gonna buy it. Like some others said, maybe $30 would've been reasonable. This is not a smart way for getting new players to try out this game.
Really? This game reminds me more of Minecraft than No Man's Sky in my opinion, at least in the visual direction design.
I honestly have no clue what to expect from gameplay. The world certainly has me intrigued and I'm on board to find out more.
That's actually a very good way of putting it when you think about it.
I could maybe see Guardians of the Galaxy being shown off, but I'm not sure about a new Batman. If it's a full-fledged batman game like the arkham series, I feel enough time has not passed for another one. They should take a different direction if they do plan to. Maybe take place in the Batman Beyond universe or something.
I'm glad. I'm really enjoy Final Fantasy 15 so far, especially after the XIII series that really hurt the main brand. I think this entry is on the right path and I hope to see more mainline final fantasy games take a freeflow combat approach instead of turn-based.
I don't have anything against turned based games, but I noticed that spin-offs technically seem to do better when it comes to final fantasy for some reason.
It doesn't help that alot of the bigger titles that were on WiiU appears to being re-released on the Switch with a few enhanced upgrades here and there. The WiiU was mediocre and I been ready for 3 years to move on to the next Nintendo console. Lets hope the Switch doesn't become a disaster like the WiiU did.
