The NES classic mini had their top spot last year (and it was basically the same console as the SNES Mini, but I prefer the SNES games...)
I do understand the difficulties that come with finding the right tracks: Have to match the game + getting the artists to agree on using it in a game. Looking forward to play this!
Can't wait for this! I've been selected as well to test it. Longtime Magic Duels and MTGO player ^^
+ it has to be weighed vs the benefits and currently it seems like the Xbox One was never intended to use SSD so the games haven't been developed with that in mind (the XBO X remains an 'upgrade' and all games have to run on all consoles in the family. They couldn't optimise for an SSD (how assets are loaded, stored, grouped, compressed) as that would perhaps make loading times on the other consoles even slower)
better controls too. the game seems optimal when played with Mouse + Keyboard
I agree that games that charge the full amount shouldn't try to earn more via MTs when it can be avoided. And most digital cardgames don't ask a price up front (Though Magic Duels of the Planeswalkers did...). But that has nothing to do with why the business model is being investigated as "gambling": the fact is that you're paying money for an unknown return of value, be it weapons and star cards in SW BFII or different valued cards in TCGs...
Thanks for pointing this out. I updated the post.
Hearthstone is a digital game only at the moment (I think the WoW paper TCG has been discontinued) and Magic has two digital games:MTGO which is a HUGE business and Magic Duels (soon to be replaced by Magic Arena, a game they hope will be easier to get into than the "advanced" MTGO)
Real life cards, sure. But the MTG Online value of cards is much lower. You can redeem a set to be sent to you physically, but you need to have 1 card of each in the set (weird system, especially for people who want to redeem a foil set). And for Hearthstone, it's not even possible to trade with others...
Just wondering, what's your favourite Pixar Movie? Mine's probably Wall-E. too bad it wasn't included in the game :(
The game does feel unfinished.I like that they made an effort to improve upon it, but more is still needed. The story clearly shows cracks here and there as does the Presentation (people look different in certain CGI videos etc)
Still waiting for a cheaper season pass, I only care about the three character episodes at the moment but they are too short and too expensive
Well said! I love being able to revisit games and if they look better, great! Why else would remasters be doing so great? People of our generation love nostalgia. 😍
Good info!
At the time of writing I thought the USb 3.0 device also had to be at least 256GB like what was needed for the games. I just bought a 2TB EHD, bur since I formatted it for games couldnt use it. Ended up using a 64GB USb stick, but thought that wouldn't have been possible. Now to figure out the JXR+ PNG export... Neither look anything like whats visible on the console itself (which briefly seems to show the png and then updates to show the 4K image)
Depends on how long you record. I Seem to average at 200MB per minute. So even a full hour would only take 12GB, I'm currently using a simple 64GB USB stick.
My list would have had: Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 3, Lost Odyssey (sure it's a 360 game but the One'll run it 😂), Quantum Break and Ori (it really is such a great game)
I need to see pictures of this 😁
Yes, though they resolved that with the slim version I believe..
Interesting comment raised on Twitter: "Does the same apply for Humble Bundle?"
