Slow day at GamesRadar? bringing up some tweets from 25 Januari :p
Ow :( sad to see this isn't in Europe as well
I'd love to see more theathrythm games make it to the west. I played hundreds of hours on the Final Fantasy ones. A Kingdom hearts one would make perfect sense of they manage to get the licenses for the Disney Music in order. But wow, would LOVE to tap and slide through the Disney Themesongs!
Strangely didnt care much for Galaxy. Did love Sunshine though ☺ plenty of Wii U/Wii/Gamecube games they can still port. I never even played wind waker 😅
It's obvious they expect to sell more on Xbox One vs other platforms as the price is $5 there vs $3 on Switch and $2 on Steam. (with achievement hunters in their bullseye)
Makes we wonder if a game that just flatout GIVES you the 1000G would still be bought if the price was cheap enough....
They didn't. They said "expect to see more of lucky". technically this DLC meets that criteria 😉 so we could just be getting more 5€ add-ons like this (which I'm fine with)
My thoughts exactly, but it's also not sold at the full price of a Mario game :) If they charged 60-70 for this I would have felt cheated out of my money a bit. but at the price they're asking it's a fun (but short) game that played really well. I'm happy to see the DLC added like this too: $4.99 for each extra world is perfect and I'd gladly buy a few expansions like this.
If anyone wants to play against me, please let me know your gamertag, I could use some better opponents 😉
Something I forgot to mention in the article: My end of year project at college was making a game bundle for 5-6 year old (first grade in our school system) we made 34 flash games, burned them on CD's and distributed them in schools (2 per school to be used in the classroom, and some schools opted to have the parents buy them) we ended up turning a pretty decent profit even 😁 (sold them at €8)
They're good thoughts 😉 about yoir glasses remark: Has it been proven that looking at screens could actually ruin your eyes? I'm from 1987, but my parents were one of the first to get a PC and I spent hours behind it (or my game boy and later on consoles) have 20/20 vision still 🤓
I'd give shadow a solid 10 as well, don't get me wrong 😅 that game is a MASTERPIECE. But the channels giving Fe a 7 or lower seems to target the poor platforming or the camera (which only was an issue for me once) while I had the same kind of issues in shadow but didnt feel like it warrants subtracting too many points. Another comparisson then: I enjoyed Fe a lot more than Journey.
Did I miss something incredibly obvious? Please let me know as I'm quite fascinated by the topic!
It all depends on how much you like the style of the game. going on gameplay alone I would have rated it a 7.5/10 but the beautiful imagery and the entrancing soundtrack pushed that up to masterpiece levels. It's a bit odd if people have no issue with Shadow of The colossus getting 10/10, while that game also had many gameplay flaws (camera, movement, horsecontrol, weird physics)
Too bad Past Cure wasn't playable at the event anymore on saturday. Was looking forward to that one...
Same here, but my go to game is Magic Duels 😁
Never heard about this one. Thank you for bringing it to my attention 😁
Yeah, but those first games you mentioned are both well known franchises. You can (kinda) trust them to be great value + you knew about them well in advance. My worry is that we've come at a point in time where new titles (especially indies) don't get noticed at all. No matter how good their marketing attempts are (it's like shouting loud at a party: If everyone is doing it, it all just ends up as noise)
And true: Aaero is an amazing game, but even they strugg...
If that's true you may have saved me some hours 😃 so far I prefer ratchet & clank. Only played one game of each though
If anyone here has a Mixer/Twitch or YouTube channel on which they'd like to play the game, let me know. I can hook you up with some keys ^^
It's Nintendo, eventually they'll port everything to everything ;)
