I love hidden object games, so glad to see this evolved from puzzles to a genre that is a little more accessible to dumb people like me :D

Exactly this. We aren't the target audience, our kids are. But Bluey is as close as it gets to me actually anjoying their cartoons. it's so full of winks to parenting.
Yeah, it's exactly that: a facelift, with few QoL improvements, but you're getting two games. I played the OG games over and over and still loved revisiting them on the Switch. But the biggest boon for me is online multiplayer, will be spending HOURS with that ^^

I've never been that sensitive to fps to be honest. It's only when switching back & forth in games from performance mode to quality mode that I can usually tell. Sure, if it drops below 30 I'll notice it, but otherwise: not really.
Some of them turned out to be features and I found it funny, like the ever extending tree. but clipping through the levels was less so. if you know what you're doing with the rocket boots however, you can clip through any wall and speedrun the game :D

It plays great too. Was REALLY impressed with how great it controlled if you have any experience with games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Elden Ring etc. Feels like coming home, but just in a new setting.
Me too, but I have a slight pet peeve for all the soulslike games also using that "Foe vanquished" or "You are dead" sound and screen. I'm all for copying the good gameplay, but taking too much feels like the kid next to you in school copying from your test and also getting a 10/10 ^^
