$500 and $600 dollars is a rediculous price for a games console. Maybe not for hardcore gamers like us on N4G.
But most casual gamers as well as parents view a games console as a toy.

I don't know about the rest of the Halo 3 fans but that music is nothing but pure adrenaline. It almost gives you chills when you are listening to it.
With this and Mass Effect coming in November Santa is gonna have his sleigh full of 360s.

I agree with the article, but they never give any actual numbers. I think that if the failure rate was that bad there would have been a class action law suit long ago and also a recall.

If your 360 red rings out you get it replaced for free and get a 3 yr warranty. And the new Falcon chipset is coming out. This will be a null issue soon enough.

It's time to face it Sony boys. There is no secret power to the PS3. The only power it has is giving developers a headache to even run games on the cell bc it is not a practical games processor. Not to mention the graphics card in the 360 is way better.

The CG video looked far superior. If Sony can't match that video I will not be impressed. It's put up or shut up this time. It would only make sense that MGS4 will also come to 360. Publishers want to maximize their profits. PS3 is not selling well compared to the other consoles and Konami knows this.
The system with the largest install base always gets the games. This happened with PS2 last generation. It will be no different with 360 this generation. with the 360 install base at almost 12 mil Konami would be crazy to pass up the green.

You can spin it any way you want but to drop a consoles price only 7+ months into its life cycle means it is severely underperforming.
