It will spell only bad things for PS3. Both Wii and 360 will both be at mass market prices, and PS3 will be over twice the competition.
When families go out shopping for loved ones this Christmas and see all the options they have on consoles. Most gamers care about mass market games like Madden and GTA they will be able to get them both on 360 for $200. Or on PS3 for $600.......
I wonder which one they will pick.

I have no problem with Bluray. The only problem that I have is that it is an unproven format and Sony is using PS3 to push it to mass market.
They should let the consumer decide through DVD player sales.
Has anyone ever thought what would happen to PS3 if Bluray does fail? It will mean the end of it unless Sony were to use Bluray just for PS3 and not movies.

Nintendo is the king and always will be. Unfortunately a lot of the younger generation doesn't see it that way. Nintendo pretty much saved a dying industry from Atari back in the day.
Factor 5 is a good developer. I have their Gamecube games. So I'm sure this will be a good title as well.

I think what Nintendo is doing is actually a good thing bc it is bringing people into the market that never really played games before.
This is good for Sony and Microsoft bc it might give these consumers interest in their consoles as well.
Another good thing about PSP now is that Sony is releasing a new download service to view movies on it.
HDDVD players always outsell Bluray players every month. Even in the US HDDVD players outsell Bluray players 4 to 1.
If Bluray wasn't incorporated in PS3 it never would have taken off. People seem to think that HDDVD = Microsoft but it doesn't. HDDVD = Toshiba. Microsoft is just a backer.
Just bc people buy PS3 doesn't mean they pick Bluray. There was an article posted that less than 13% of people watch DVDs on their games console.
