that this game will be online. A first time ever for the series.
I am really suprised too. I remember in an interview it was said that it wasn't possible.
I know 360 isn't very popular in Japan but I bet this will see good sales there bc VF is the most popular fighter over there.
I was actually impressed that Tretton didn't stick his foot in his mouth.
It is strange but I do notice that when 3rd parties put games on display or demo it, it is usually the 360 version.
The only thing that sucks is the price of upgrades.
will win this Holiday season bc of an impending price drop. Not to mention Bungie Claus will be puting Halo 3 in everyones stocking this year.
All of PS3s truly big games come out next year.
why do you keep making them?
Just bc you like one game in a genre, how come you can't like another.
Variety is the spice of life.
Bash the Wii all you want. Nintendo is doing good things this generation. Getting people who have never played games to play them.
They will expand the market. If anything they saved the industry from becoming stale and crashing.
Nintendo did the exact same thing back in the day, when they saved a dying industry from Atari.
games were all the same. I will give them their props for jump starting th FPS genre. But their games have grown stale, at least to me.
They are outselling all their rivals in every country. And on top of it are profiting on every hardware sale ever since launch.
My prayers and sentiments go out to the family. No mother wants to bury her child.
Definately very sad.
associate HDDVD with Microsoft, it is Toshiba.
HDDVD player do outsell BD players every month usually 4 to 1. Standalone players are the only ones that should be counted bc it is known that consumers bought it solely for movies.
Only 13% of people watch movies on their console. You can google it I don't feel like it.
It is like counting every PC, XBOX, XBOX360 and PS2 as a DVD player....and we all know not everyone with these devices watch movies ...
HDDVD with Microsoft. HDDVD is Toshiba.
Microsoft could care less who wins they just want the war to take as long as possible. So digital distribution will win.
and have a launch 360. No scratched disks.
I think people are stupid and move their 360 while it is on.
in its first year. It is possible but highly unlikely. I remember reading in an interview with Sony that they said they couldn't afford another price drop.
As for FF13 that is a shame. This game seems like it has been in development for a while. But it could also not be true and just a rumor.
For people who have both systems and are waiting for FF13, I reccommend Lost Odyssey for 360 as it comes out this year and is said to be just like FF.
Japan is Sony territory. And it isn't anymore. Sony handed over the crown to Nintendo.
Japan is Sony's home territory. It is very important for them to secure it, and they haven't. That is the only thing Peter Moore was stressing.
The same could be said if PS3 was leading in USA in install base and sales. But it isn't 360 is.
Japan is far more important to Sony than it is to Microsoft.
If 360 sells better than the original XBOX ...
Can't wait for part 4. The only one that I didn't like was part 2.
is looking really good. Impressive graphics. I guess 360 will get Lost Odyssey and PS3 will get FF13.
Only time will tell which one will be better.
or a cherry coke. Not electronics :(
It's just that Microsoft and Sony don't see them as a competitor. Nor do the fanboys.
It will be funny when the Wii overtakes the 360 install base and Nintendo will be in first in console sales.
Then what will everyone say.
bc the extra 20 gigs cost Sony nothing extra to produce.
The 80 gig model doesn't have the Emotion Engine so this version of PS3 also costs Sony less to make.
A retail copy of Motor Storm is only $60.
So 80 gig model is worth at most $560.
just basic math.
