which is expected. But even with all the motion capture, upped polygon counts, and better textures the human models still look lifeless. They have yet to capture the facial expressions correctly to portray emotion.

First of all the PS3 has "one" core not nine. The 360 has 3. They don't even have multicore PCs out yet that have 9 cores that I am aware of.
you are correct. Not to mention that newer HDTV's can convert the interlaced signal to a non-interlaced one which will result in a 1080P image with minimal drop in quality.
in Japan is that neither console has really taken off yet. PS3 is a little over a million sold and 360 at almost half a million.
I don't think the 360 will ever be really big in Japan but Microsoft is puting forth a good effort. They are publishing a lot of JRPGs from Mistwalker Studios as well as securing Infinite Undiscovery from Tri-Ace. They have also obtained previously PS Brand games like DMC, Ace Combat, Resident Evil, Katamari, I'm sure there are more.

good entry price for an HD media player. It's cheaper than a lot of regular "DVD-9" players. This will sell very well regardless of what the haters or the people in denial might think.

The real fun was when Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, and Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and Samurai Shodown hit the scene though. I remember people would put their quarters up on the cabinet to play next bc the lines were so long. Those were the days. The true "golden age" if you will.
Bestbuy is selling the HD-A2 for $99.99 as well as a lot of other outlets. And the cheapest Bluray player is $300 more. The standalone install base will decide the format war. NOT the PS3.
PS3 gave the Bluray movies a nice boost in sales. But the simple fact is that "most" PS3 owners do not buy Bluray movies. If they did HD DVD would already be dead. The standalone players have a higher movie attach rate. These are the consumers that count. It was a nice mas...
It is one of Sega's new IPs, and I have always been a Sega fan. The game looks very similar to the new Golden Axe: Beast Rider screens that have been released.

A games industry without Nintendo would be sad. They were the gaming industry back in the late 80s early 90s. I still wish Sega would release another console.
360 gamers do buy the most games. It is funny that Guitar Hero 3 on the 360 even outsold the PS2 version. And the PS2 install base is over 100 million owners.
Just goes to show that next-gen gamers are choosing Xbox 360 as their platform of choice. For whining, petitioning, Bluray movie watching, waiting, excuses, and name calling people choose PS3 as their platform of choice.
