vastness killed it for MGSV. by the time you reach the 25th chapter you realize it's copy paste. not everyone wants that large of a map to explore.

Just about every close scoring xbox game has flaws exposed and mute to gamer reception.
I do expect any future low scoring xbox games to be met with flaws exposed.
Considering what QB received I think Days Gone has gotten it's share of criticisms.
by N4G standards, that a 6/10 PS game deserves a sequel but a 8/10 Xbox game is never good enough. it's a hypocritical thought.

online is workable but i think there is another way of doing this. emulators have always been pretty popular. and both MS and Sony have been using them in the past. why not just sell one of their officially made emulators? they could easily sell over a million through their website.
Nomura's script writing isn't that much better though. His FFVII AC and dirge of cerberus narrative contrasted Kitase and Hironobu's FFVII. Hironobu and Kitase write the scripts Nomura just does the characters and action.

yeah. gameplay also has to be challenging too. most gameplay in games break story logic anyways. usually cinemas in games are filled with one shot kills. but in gameplay it usually takes 15-20 shots and 10 minutes later. it's just game design by default.
even though it's part of the story the game would obviously be too easy for head shots. can't blame them for breaking story protocol. also they are not really zombies. the T-Virus however still needs the brain intact in order to control body functions. so yeah it still goes back to shooting them in the head to correctly disable them. like zombies.
