I'm not that big on fortnite but this was pretty entertaining. I liked it.

"Why are people still giving this game money?"

"earned over $350,000 in the twenty-or-so hours which followed the launch of alpha 3.6 alongside the new Anvil Ballista self-propelled defense vehicle."

well there you have it. once again backers were pleased with playing the latest version of it. that's why.

you could say the same about people giving their collage tuition to NASA just land on the moon again.

had a feeling the graphics would be gimped anyways.
many developers were targeting high end render targets at this time.

It's interesting stuff. and yes you can see the elements of QB. you can also tell Remedy still views the amount potential that can be done with the mechanics.

Uplay has exclusives too. why doesn't anyone talk about that?
EA has exclusives too. why doesn't anyone talk about that?

It plays very much like how i would expect a gears game to play. and it looks great in my opinion.
appealing to the core fan-base usually keep changes to a minimum for many games.
the mechanics were already perfected since Gears2. provide more gears content and narrative is the main goal.

"It’s an unusual title, but perhaps it would make more sense if we say what it really is - Until Dawn 2. "

"There will be two types - two-player online/local co-op (which we played) and a 2-5 player ‘Movie Night’ mode, where everyone gets to control a specific character and tries not to mess them up. They will."

best news yet.
so hyped about "local co-op". looking for more games that support this.

good. i thought the battle between favorite launchers was getting kinda lame. If Epic store gets a game you can still play it through GALAXY 2.0.

you're not supposed to know sephiroth's identity in midgar. nor of his involvement. probably one of the most notable changes to the story. with his identity revealed it leaves few shock moments to the story.

In short it depends on how kaz made gaming more attractive to you. speaking purely from my perspective -

I considered Ken kutaragi as part of my A-team, next to Hayao Nakayama, Shigeru Miyamoto, followed by peter moore in the US. I particularly viewed Kaz Hirai as part of the catalyst for pushing games to be closer to movies in oder to be considered AAA.

a good thing you ask? yes and no, leading all the way to the future. instead of games being designed...

if it actually turns out to be good then it turns out to be good. if not then we at least know it's not cannon and won't effect the games.

developers should be able to have freedom where they want to sell their games. just as much as gamers should be able to pick and chose where they want to buy their games. the point of a free market. Currently steam gamers look at the Epic store as a lackluster service. that is only because the store is new. likely they will accommodate with new features and layouts in the future.
