FF8 is great for the new consoles. on Steam however it was already in HD. and it's backdrops got a HD overhaul with all sorts of hidden detail revealed. PC reception says the fans did more re-mastering the meat of the game. however with that said. if there is anything worth pointing out that this re-master offers that MODs don't is the new 3D modeled characters. with better hair and face detail not offered anywhere else.
