Wondering why Overwatch is being mentioned when this is true for any online game
Not blaming him for trying to promote the Scorpio in such a way that it will be better than the Pro, but he should have chosen his words more carefully. Has he learned nothing from the internet and media? Especially with how good they are at spinning their statements, he could have just said "we didn't include boost mode because the console will automatically make older games run better". That would have painted a better picture for the Scorpio
Damn some people seriously lack a sense of humor
Every game does not need a creator or female lead. They centered the plot around a male protagonist so it's not as simple as just turning him to a female, especially with the Social Links/Confidants.
The fact that so many agree with your incorrect statement shows many ignorant people there really are here
Obvious point is obvious. MS did this to generate hype and momentum then will drop the games on E3. That is the expectation. Whether they really do have the games people want is another thing.
New IP pls! Though another Infamous wouldn't be too bad
MS doesn't care and we will be reminded again next Thursday that there was a million hours played on Xbox Live, a 6.7% increase YoY, and an annual high of software sales last month
If a game I have no real interest in playing goes on a sale for $1, I'd buy it and add it to my library and probably play it eventually, maybe never. I'm sure I'm not the only who one who will be doing this?
2017 - year of the JRPG
It's classic Forbes refusing to give credit where it's due
I just hope they don't pull another vanilla Destiny with this one.
It's honestly not surprising. The Xbox 360 started out with a bang - a ton of exclusives that even included JRPGs like Vesperia and Star Ocean, not to mention FFXIII became multi. Then they slowly just relied on multiplatforms and Kinect. It wasn't a big deal back then because the 360 was the leading platform in NA but now that the PS4 has taken their spot back, it's a lot more visible how they stop supporting exclusives, even canceling Scalebound and Phantom Dust
Uhhh hasn't anyone seen the Peebee and fem Ryder scene?
@Bigpappy
A flop can mean a lot of things. There is no denying Andromeda is flopping hard critically. If you don't want to call it a flop, then you call it the biggest disappointment so far - same crap, just like how Watch Dogs flopped yet sold well for a new IP. This is a game succeeding an excellent trilogy. The only game that can topple this as a bigger flop/disappointment is RDR2
"Mass Effect has the same sidequests as Horizon"
>Too many fetch quests
lol
That's great not just for Sony and GG, but it can encourage other devs and publishers that if done right, a new IP can be very rewarding, instead of milking a franchise
Watch dualshockers' first 35 minutes and you will see that while this headline might be clickbait it is understandable that they have a negative opinion in the first hours. Lower your expectations people
Idk man, Horizon on 4k looked stunning. 1800p isn't far off from 2160p and if it can maintain a solid 30fps I'm good with that. Of course if you only have a 1080p TV, 1080/60 option would be preferable over 1080/30 with higher graphic settings IMO
You do realize the PS4 was released in NA 2 weeks earlier than the other countries right? They had all their stock focused there so they sold 1m in 24 hours. Also Xbox One sold 1m worldwide not NA.
The Switch didn't do a staggered release and as far as I know has been out of stock all the time so if Nintendo did the same they may have sold 1 million easily as well (maybe not in 24h but for sure in a month)
