Only interested because Respawn is the only studio I like from EA. Bioware used to be one until they came out with the abomination known as ME Andromeda, then followed that up with a dull Anthem
They don't need to change a lot of things. Me personally I just want bigger and better bosses and not differently colored trolls and soul eaters
This is true, but can't also argue against the games that made the list
Where have you been the past few months? It's already clear that's not the direction MS is taking the Xbox brand. They are transitioning it to a service platform like Netflix and this integration of Google/Alexa is one of the next steps
You don't know how ratios work do you?
Back then when Sony had 2hr conferences I looked forward to it, but it was all filler (no disrespect to devs) with how the game was made, DLC plans, sales/activity numbers, etc. Sony has since mastered the art of press conferences, and even their 1h15m shows have more exciting content than their old 2hr ones. And with MS not having a lot of steam going into E3, this is looking more of just a hype builder to make everyone think they have a lot in store but I just expect them to lay out their p...
Newsflash - (P)reviews ARE opinions
Funny how he says "it's not that simple to make" when most of SO5 were recycled from previous games.
Do you have a crystal ball or something? How do you know those are the only 4 games being shown
The story itself isn't impressive, but what really stands out is the production, direction and narrative the game followed - how they developed the relationship of father and son, how Kratos' past will always be a part of him, how the Norse gods are connected to him and his journey. It's amazing how they put all the pieces together so seamlessly
They should show sales over the same time period, cause that will show how impressive the Switch has been in Japan
I'm just glad that games like Zelda, God of War and Horizon are proving that SP games still matter and aren't a dead end when it comes to making money. MS somehow has the disillusion that the only way they can profit is by turning games into a service. That's what happens when you don't invest in your own studios and buy timed exclusives.
The tides never left
Sony doesn't have to do anything. Microsoft already excels at crippling itself
I don't care about power. As long as they continue to deliver fresh and new, exciting games, that's all that matters. 4k @60 is just icing. I think the current sales of consoles especially the Switch already prove it's the games and creativity that matter.
Article talks about matching God of War, but MS doesn't even have anything to compete with Spiderman, Detroit, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding. Face the reality, Crackdown 3 is undergoing development hell. No updates the last few months, delayed multiple times and doesn't even have a concrete release window. It looks worse and worse every time they show it. No new announcements from their depleted first party studios after closing down several others. MS is clearly conte...
1st Party games were never a priority with MS. Phil is just spouting this nonsense to appease people. Their one and only priority is to transition Xbox to a software service platform that is found in every home. They're trying to be the Netflix of video games
8.5 for a "Not so powerful" god. Talk about being desperate for clicks!
Wasn't a hyperbole. It was that bad
