Kitase pretty much said Midgar will be its own standalone game and that this release which spans 2 discs is "the first game in this project". He also said the gameplay is optimized for Midgar which probably means there's no open world included. It all aligns with the statement that they want to expand on the Midgar story, the game synopsis which is all about Avalanche and the trailers and gameplay we've seen. The game that will come out March 3 2020 is only Midgar
Yep
They already tomorrow Bioware they better not do the same to Respawn.
21million is exactly how much the PS4 sold by Mar 2015, which is the same time frame. Nothing special about this prediction, as long as you expect the PS5 to sell as well as the PS4 which is a fair expectation even at 499
It will be a separate game. Consider it an enhanced version of the original and as such will most likely be priced as a full game
They've definitely been quiet and keeping the PS5 under wraps up until a few days ago, I expect the PS5 to have its own event next year that includes what they plan to do with the PS4. It's very likely that because BC is pretty much guaranteed, games like TLoU2 and Ghost of Tsushima will be cross gen titles
It doesn't matter, just like IW the people that made Bioware great are gone already
They'll release one version and keep it simple like it should. If they release a premium version it has to be a significant difference and more than the PS4 pro difference
@Godmars290
And some fans will bash it into oblivion
PS5 launch title perhaps?
You guys misunderstand, the author meant to post this on April 1
I'd rather see P3 remade
It's worrying that Anthem still made 100m+. Shows how the future will look like when other publishers jump on this money train
Best Uncharted game
I know it's mostly because it's free, but I'm happy this game is kicking Anthem's ass to show how foolish EA is. Never marketed the game just like how they didn't push Titanfall 2. Respawn has repeatedly shown they're still one of the best out there and I hope EA either gives them a big push or let them go find an actual worthy publisher
Tell that to reviewers who gave Skyrim a 95 average knowing it had over a zillion bugs
Skyrim has underwent several patches and still has bugs everywhere even on the Switch, and nobody wants to talk about it
Uhh, the game is overhyped beyond boundaries. Probably even the reason why Apex received zero push. I'm willing to bet that game will end up being better and more popular than Anthem. EA is backing the wrong horse here. Bioware is a shadow of their former selves. Respawn is one of the most underrated developers out there
It's almost certain it will have BC. The reason PS4 didn't was because of the PS3's infamous cell architecture. The PS5 should be expected to follow the PS4's footsteps so expect full BC
Yeah that didn't look too bad. I think I and a lot of people were just taken aback by how unappealing the character models were, which to digress is disappointing that they don't plan on redesigning. I'm also a little concerned with how they plan on doing the campaign if it's solo only, and what multiplayer looks like. It sounds a lot like Destiny where you can solo the campaign (though not forced unlike this game) and most content is post game and better played as multiplayer...
