Witb the right price point and the install base, yes they could. If they come in considerably lower than occulus, they can absolutely take over here. Perhaps for non gaming applications and pc afficionados occulus would be preferred, but not mainstream.
Well thx actual box is certainly large enough. Reminds me of sega with their multitude of attachments to the genesis. X box needs to be careful to not alienate owners that buy consoles to avoid having to upgrade to play the latest games.

Yes. Get it. If you go in not expecting gta than you will like the game. Put about 50 hours in the wii u version and really enjoyed it.
I literally went from original Zelda to TP without having played anything in between. TP was amazing. Thats what happens if you can stop comparing to past games and nostalgia. Each one re invents itself and differs from others. Enjoy them seperately and you'll always have fun playing.
If this was someones first Zelda experience, then an amazing experience they will have with this game.
I liked the wiimote in TP, but new controls might get me and others to consider this again or for the first time for many.
no one that would either read this article or peruse N4G is included in the target audience of miitomo. As a long term strategy to gain additional customers from the non-core crowd, it may turn out to be genius. We'll have to wait and see.

Buying these at launch and full price is not a bad thing. I've said this before, our hobby is relatively cheap when you break it down to per hour cost. Compare to movies and your entertainment dollar is much stronger with video games, full price or not.
I feel robbed every time, which is rare, I go to the movies and pay $10 for a couple hours of entertainment.

How cheap are you looking for? 2 included games, no online fees. All you really would need might be a pro controller for 2nd player. that's it. There are more than enough quality games to justify at the current price point.
Not that I'm aware of, Standard SD cards work though. I believe you are limited to 32 gb or something.
I wouldn't say awful, just not as good as the game pad for me, but it definitely is a good 2nd controller option.
If they adopted the cell phone model of paying a monthly fee and getting the console for free as cell phone companies do, they could absolutely clean up. if not, I think the lack of stability in hardware will run them out of the console market. History has shownthat too many upgrades too fast can lead to ruin, ie. Sega with their multitude of upgrades.
Console owners like their stability and like their investment to have legs for at least a few years
