Very nice response. Couldn't agree more.
Because it's popular to hate on Nintendo and its fans. Many have decided they would rather find a community that isn't full of trolls and not finding said community they decide to ignore the trolls.
Say you like Nintendo or the wii u and defend anything you get called a blind apologist or accused of damage controlling. At some point you get tired of the chatter and just go back to playing games. Others try and find communities that share a respect for gaming and ga...
There is no part of this review that would indicate anything at all is "broken" Seriously, this term is misused all the time and we should be angry about it.
Let's say hypothetically, that the NX comes out for holiday 2016 as people seem to suggest. This starts the 9th generation. it is not mid gen or anything. If, again hypothetically, the ps5 and xboxtwo(or whatever)comes in in say 2020, wouldn't you be fair to say that Sony and MS skipped the 9th generation entirely?
More likely, we would (or should) stop calling and labeling things as specific generations and simply talk about the current product for each manufactur...
Played this on wii u. It was fun and will worth the cost.
Based on the amount of time put into this game and the fun I've had, it would definitely have been worth buying just for this game. Fortunately, there are plenty of other games to justify the purchase before this one even came along.
I have 18 of these games, and many more. Not everything, but a solid overall list. I really think that Wonderful 101, AC4, and Batman Arkham City...maybe Zombie U deserve at least an honorable mention as they were fantastic and among my favorites.
Note the variety here. Only 2 games are mario platformers, bothe are quite different.
Me too. Nintendo is going to make a ton on this app, but it is not for me.
It was 2 years
I wonder how much it affects this when the day a game launches, you see videos showing all the final bosses of a game, all the cut scenes, the customizations, alternate endings and about 6 hours of game play, sometimes complete games. These are what Devs should be taking down, not a casual lets play that takes a month or more to complete.
I feel the pain about kids not finishing games. I had to ask my son the other day if he ever finished a game? It doesn't happen oft...
I think you are missing the point about the free stuff argument. You buy a game yesterday, you paid $60 for, you get the game. You buy a game today, you paid $60 for it, you get points/coins, etc that can be applied to future purchases or you get some extra stuff. No its not free, when compared to what you got yesterday, it is absolutely free. You seem to be thinking that they were withholding the rewards from you yesterday that you earned and now they are just giving them to you, which ...
I was expecting to have something in place that gave you rewards to playing games, not just Miitomo. Thinking about this, though, it would only work on unreleased games and forward. It makes sense that they are going in slow, and I'm glad for that. I hope there is something added for each new release of some kind, like maybe Starfox coming up.. Makes sense to me. If not, I think it is a lost opportunity for the rewarding achievement system rumored in the past.
Feels bad doesn't it? It's not just Nintendo that gets doom and gloom now.

I'll admit i went from nes directly to the wii. I played genesis then pc until the wii came out when i was tired of having to work excessivly hard to get pc games to run properly. I loved my wii and now my wiiu. They have not let me down yet.
The way I always look at regretted purchases like this. Ive spent as much on a bad meal or an movie I didn't like. In the end, its only $20. Would be a nice feature though to sellback digital titles. I would use it.
I can't think of any game I would be willing to rebuy. There are too many games I've never played. They may be fixing your issue soon, but is this really an issue cor a majority of gamers?
I don't think you read the rest of the sentence. what about the part about reverse engineer, decompiling the code or bypassing systems of the wii u? These speak of emulators.
While valid points, Except the third party support, absolutely none of what you mention has bothered me or detracted from me having fun with my Wii U. I choose to enjoy it for what it is, not what it isn't or what I think it should be.
That being said, I respect your opinions.
