2 maps a piece, very limited gun selection, no ability to put attachments on said guns, perks from the old BF games didn't make it over, hit detection in BC2 is atrocious at the moment, and to top it off they launched without a voice chat system in 2021. EA has done less than the bare minimum at this point. Should've been delayed 6 months and packed with content for the community. Just my opinion at least, a lot of wasted potential
Tried the game last night via trial. This game def needed more time in the oven, at least 6 months. As a BF player since 2008, this is rather insulting. FPS drops on next gen, lack of variety in maps and guns, portal is barebones, just feels like a rushed BF CoD hybrid cash grab. It just doesnt feel like much effort went into the game compared to how they used to. Characters are so generic and forgettable too. They should have remastered BC2 and BF3. Game feels like early access at this point...

Gamemode encourages camping with limited lives, no incentive to run and gun. Based on the alpha 5/10 game. Hopefully beta will be normal game modes and have the fixes we want implemented below.

I agree. Between Rachet and Clank, Sackboy, Psychonauts 2, and Bowsers Fury, the past 12 months have been great. 2022 is going to be slammed
Very relaxing game to play by yourself or with a friend. The sights and sounds are a nice break from FPS games

Here's to hoping the MW engine helped Sledgehammer make a proper Call of Duty this time around! If Treyarch is handling zombies as well, while being on the MW engine, we could have something here. Hopefully, Warzone doesn't take away from the experience and the team focuses on Call of Duty's bread and butter campaign/MP combo. Call of Duty 1-3 Trilogy remaster included in deluxe edition??? Truly disappointing if this is true. There's literally no AAA Sony title this Holiday. No E3 presence. No Gamescom presence. No mention of PS Experience this Dec. Big games getting pushed out after hyping everyone up. Wish companies would stop throwing around release dates like they mean something. Guess we'll have to wait until Q1 2022 for anything new to play :(

Perfect time to quit since OW2 is dead on arrival with its 5v5 and CoD 2021 is in a disaster state with Sledgehammer. Wasnt planning on getting CoD this year anyway but now I really cant. I'll stick with old CoDs and Overwatch 1 but they wont be seeing any more money from me from games or microtransactions.
Licenses for the cars likely ran out, not much they can do unless they feel the need to fork over the money for renewal. Very unlikely with FM8 coming in the next 12 months or so. Took Midnight Club 5+ years to come back on the Xbox Store. Racing games are among the hardest to preserve.
Can we please ban opinion pieces from this site? The rumor ban was very helpful in keeping the community stable and going on factual info alone but these opinion pieces do nothing but start speculative fanboy fights over plastic boxes. Would love to just see news articles and reviews instead of microsoft bashing and sony slander 24/7. Always some clickbait "journalist" site trying to get clicks starting a flame war.
1942 portal is the best experience so far. No lag, no hit registration issues, not really any FPS drops, no server issues. Main game is broken, BC2 has bad hit reg issues at the moment. Hope they can clear it up quickly
