All we can hope for at this point is that Microsoft remasters or revives some old Activision IPs we've wanted for years now while Activision milks the CoD cow. This is great news for Xbox gamers but a scary moment for everyone else as there is no telling what Xbox will make exclusive and prevent on other platforms. I personally want a MW2 2009 Multiplayer remaster as well as a remaster of Blur and a new Soldier of Fortune game.

This is massive for emulation. A gamecube/wii emulator allowed on Steam that will natively support Steam client and Steam deck users. I saw this referenced in some comments however many are not aware that while BC2 will die a sad death on console, the PC version will live on via Project Rome. Well I think we all knew it was coming after the EU fiasco. It's game over for MS getting Activision. Good for competition, however bad for the many great IPs Activision sits on and does nothing with.
