Nintendo has been decimated by mobile gaming which took away their casual base. Only the dedicated have stayed with them and they're trying to adapt to regain that casual base but it's going to hurt them in the long run.
N4G has become Sony Pony HQ and Save Poor Nintendo Mania. Last gen it was Xbot Centre. What's next? And what's with the hourly flamebait news sites we keep seeing? Stop posting this opinionated trash and post actual news, this is News 4 Gamers for crying out loud. Everyone seems to hop on the hate bandwagon towards other platforms they don't own. Real gamers own all the platforms and just play the games instead of creating flamebait clickbait articles and fanboying hard in the com...
If you want 4K, build a PC with an i5 and a 980ti.
Consoles need to stay consoles and stop trying to be like smartphones/PC. We like consoles because they last and we don't have to worry, we just enjoy our games. Sony can't manage to put new 14nm Polaris architecture in the PS4 for $400. 4K60fps is way too expensive for the console market. Even for PC, it's too expensive. Can't believe how many uninformed people think it's possible, it's sad. It's most like...
PS+ this gen has been a joke compared to XBL Gold this gen and PS+ last gen. We get junky indies no one has even heard of while Xbox got games like Borderlands last month and this month Sunset Overdrive, Dead Space, and SR4. PS+ last gen was amazing with great games like Bioshock Infinite, LBPK, Hitman Absolution, Litte Big Planet 2, R&C All For One for free. Sony needs to step it up, not sure why fanboys are defending Sony, we are getting crap games. My XBL membership has been a much bet...
RIP Nintendo
Nobody wants upgraded consoles!
We buy consoles to enjoy for years and also because they're NOT like smartphones that become obsolete 5 min after you buy them, and we buy them as well to enjoy games that are deeply optimized. Create upgraded consoles and we'll end up like PC with unoptimized, buggy games across the board. Am I the only one who doesn't mind long console cycles? I didn't mine the 360's long cycle, it was enjoyable and a fantastic platform through the...
Xbox One has failed in sales and trust because MS invented horrible policies and Sony played on that and it stuck in everyone's mind. MS has made a 180 and got back to what matters, the gamer. They're pushing system features out the door monthly and first party support by the big studios plus they're bringing many Xbox 360 titles to One via backwards compatibility like Black Ops 1 and Halo Wars. It's now a great console, especially with the $299 price. I only paid $250 for my ...
MS dropped price to 299 then gohastings.com had 16% off sitewide which made it 250. The sale was one day only
It is a good sale, I just picked up a new Xbox One for $250 with a game.
Microsoft doesn't need to worry about VR on Xbox, they make plenty of money from other aspects of their business, Sony on the other hand has no money and is betting all their cards on PSVR & PS4's continued success. PS will be the home of VR while Xbox will potentially be the home of AR besides PC. Microsoft needs to focus on games, games, and game, and backwards compatibility too of course as a bonus. Bring MW2 to Xbox One via BC and you'll see riots & fire at Sony HQ. So...
Best racer I've played in years, came in the mail today. Had fun with the beta. Racers like they used to be. Fun.
LBP3 is $9.99 at GameStop
Saving up $500 for the bundle with the camera and controller. 7 months is plenty of time to save.
Can't wait to play normal games like Rainbow Six and others in cinematic mode then Driveclub in VR!
Rainbow Six on VR Headset!!!!
So is this just Xbox1 vs PC? Or Xbox1 vs PC vs PS4? The article says it is the first cross network game now which is untrue as ps4 vs PC has been around
Wish they would've gone 60fps instead. 30fps is so choppy. The graphics look good but frame rate over eye candy any day.
I'm paying the $60, you're getting a fun, infinite exploration game from a real, passionate developer. "AAA" trashy games like CoD or Star Wars charge $60 PLUS $50 season pass and no one bats an eye. Ridiculous. Indie doesn't mean the game should be $15, the game has been worked on for many years.
Already pre-ordered disk for PS4 #SummerHype
I say gimmick. The whole VR and motion controller thing is gonna wear off real fast. I was excited at first but it's been 4 years now and the hype has worn off for me. Even at $400, it's still a lot of money for some gadget and I just don't see it as worth it. I like classic gaming experiences.
