This game and Warhawk....ultimate multiplayer games!!
I want to see actual gameplay footage on the 360 everything so far as to what the game can do physics wise was showcased on a PC...I think it will be stunning on the PC but I will not surprised if its gimped for the 360.
Definitely look forward to this kinds of game....definitely sounds like a game to play on a dreary, rainy night....it refreshing to see the PS3 library starting to build very diverse games and starting off on the right track.
I just happened to come across this article and WTF is with people hitting the disagree button and these comments getting deleted (someone must be writing something really F'ed up on here?!?! Whoever is doing that, you seriously need a fistful of knuckles in your face....a child's life was loss over something senseless and stupid...I wouldn't even put this dude in jail, I would make him walk over hot coals until he beg for his miserable life to end, jail is too easy for some people.
"Xbox Live is the Better Online Gaming Service"...........but for how long is the question?, PSN has almost caught up to what what LIVE is within a WAAAYYY shorter life span, and if they rumors about a 10 per month fee for LIVE, it will definitely lose alot of subscribers, I have both LIVE and PSN and PSN's network runs jsut a good if not better in some areas than LIVE...so what he is saying is rather moot.
I could really care less, just make sure you build it on the PS3 FIRST and THEN port to the 360....not the other way around to make sure the PS3 version doesn't suffer the same ol' fate because of the 360's architecture....
XBL isn't even worth the 50 a year it is now...so to charge 10 a month and making it 120 a year....good luck with that.
Personally, I would rather him work on a new IP for the PS3 than do a piss poor port of GOW to the PS3....if he has any plans on making a PS3 game, it would be best to do it from the ground up so he can take advantage of the console instead of hindering it.
I think its a combination of BOTH...plus I think they are afraid of failure and that they are not confident enough to make a successful game on the PS3.
See...now this is the smart way to get your game to look and play right on the PS3...you hire experienced developers to help you and I give respect to any developers that admits that they don't fully understand the PlayStation technology and how it works instead of whining like other developers, especially Valve. And like someone said once they get their heads around how the architecture works, they will REALLY take off and make some amazing things on the console.
Seriously...I don't see what the big fuss is about cross-game chat...I rarely used on my 360, to me is seems like it would be an annoyance if anything if another person wants to chat while your playing a game and you are really into the game and trying to concentrate, but hey, if they add it, its all good, just seeing an e-mail message pop up from whoever wants to talk is good enough for me since you can pretty access the XMB and read the message.
Damn.....now if this was for downloadable games on the PSN, I'd defiantly would of grab these, especially Silent Hill.
I agree that this game definitely does not deserve a 10 for graphics, even COD4 had very low-res textures if you get very up close to objects (but that is in A LOT of games whether on 360 or PS3), but it seems that either the color palette they use or some hardware tricks that they pull off of the hardware makes it look very detailed from afar (which it does....when running around, it does look stunning, but when you get up close to things like grass or trees, everything is very static with n...
@gnothe1
"come on man, of course both NG games came out with more content on the PS3.IT WAS RELEASED A YEAR LATER!!they have to do something to get people to buy a year old game, thats a no brainer, plus they also have time to sort out any problems in the first game(which is a plus) but dont sit here an try an make it seem as if the PS3 gets more content because Itagaki isnt involved."
Dude...tell me you are not serious....there are a few games that was ported ove...
LMAO...these are the same dimwit devs that are afraid to learn how to develop for the PS3? I wouldn't take what they say as truth by a long shot, their thinking is to closed minded and probably have no idea how the PSN network works or exactly how many people really used it, I wouldn't say that the community is "head and shoulders" above the PS3, the PSN network is quite large if they would take the time to get off their lazy azz and check, now if they where talking about functional...
See how getting rid of Itagaki has open doors now for PS3 owners? Dude was hating on the PS3 and even admitted it in a indirect way, so I'm glad he is no longer there, if you noticed both Ninja Gaiden games had more added for the PS3 version, and the sad thing is that both are better than Itagaki's installments on the 360.
Definitely looking forward to see DOA on the PS3 and what will they do to optimize it.
I'd like to know what exactly did they have to say in the review, a score of 9/10 means nothing if there is not a link or a scan to the review article, I'd like to see what was said about the game....
None of the things mentioned justify it as more worth while to buy when the PSN has almost as must of this to offer, and Sky TV is nothing that I would considering making LIVE more worth owning, if you think about it, it was stated that to use Sky TV will be a separate fee of 15 buck...so on top of the 50 a year and that add 15 more a month? Explain how it this worth it, I'd rather have PSN service which is free and just have the full fledged service of Sky independently at a fraction of the ...
No time soon pretty much means never....these guys even said themselves that are devoted to Sony and have a strong relationship with them and prefer to work with the Playstation because that's where they have the most experience with....so its not a surprise, that's just like Bungie creating a game for the PS3...not happening.
Too little, too late.....if they where smart, they should of created something totally different for the PS3 for GTAIV and not give out hand-me-downs from the 360.
