^..I agree with what you are saying, but you have to look at it from a hardcore or just a dedicated video gamers perspective, yeah it don't make sense, but look at the topics other people argue about and yet that sh!t don't make sense either...politics!
"PS3 Fanboys don't be jealous because u cant get these amazing 360 exclusives!"
A game that should have an adventure campaign that clocks in about about 5 hours? I'm sure PS3 owners are throwing a hissy fit over losing out on this exclusive...that was a good joke!!!
I own both by the way and I seriously doubt this is anything to get jealous about, which is once again I'm glad I got for 40 bucks.....even though the gameplay mechanics look great, it is definitely no...
@kewlkat007....
If the shoe was on the other foot...360 fans would do the same thing, both consoles have kick ass exclusive, so just enjoy the game.
glad I only paid 39.99 for it.....Alan Wake and Halo Reach are the only game I want now on the 360.
this is a very dumb comparison....you are trying to compare a action packed game to an adult driven murder/mystery game?!?! LMAO!!!
It amazes me how many people are trying to tear down Heavy Rain's popularity, stop hating because its a kick ass and quite different PS3 game.
Very misleading title.....but to me the FEAR games are just plain dull to me, I don't know why people think its so great....the first one looks so bland, and the office rooms all start to look the same to me....the scares where okay...but nothing I found to make you scream.
The AI is very good, the the environments leave a lot to be desired.
ND or anyone never said that it redefines actions games....UC2 just rose the bar on how actions games SHOULD BE! They just took a formula and made it better and more fun. People need to stop reading into things are making it more than what it is or just trying to find something negative to say about the game but fail horribly in finding a reason.
what is he probably try to convey is the people are not taking the traditional route of learning an instrument and rely on developing guitar skills thru a video game...and I can somewhat understand what he is saying.
This is the reason why Prince turned down an offer from Guitar Hero and said ""It's a tough instrument — it's not easy. It took me a long time, and it was frustrating at first. And you just have to stick with it, and it's cool for people who don't have time to le...
They are obviously putting their attention to the PS3....like someone said, the way they talk about the game, you would think its a PS3 exclusive, but I think they are like a challenge and see the CELL and all the space Blu-ray has to offer and figure they are pull this off, as long as it not done on the 360 first, then the PS3 version isn't going to be gimped, which is a smart idea and something other devs need to get wise too.
Or possibly they have different devs working on each cons...
Why does it have to be Sony fanboys....just because the demo wasn't great it has to come from PS3 owners, maybe the PS3 owners also on a 360 as well?
Even some 360 owners even thought the demo was garbage....hopefully the rest of the game isn't like that, now if it was a Sony exclusive game....the Xbox patrol would be all over it (which obviously has happened with KZ2, UC2, and even Infamous), so 360 fans are just as bad...everyone plays both sides of the fence, so everyone needs to cu...
I hope the rest of the game is not as pathetic as the demo...
for 40 bucks...definitely worth the price. Thanks for the info.
The more they make excuses for this game, the more credibility it loses (first the weak demo, then revealed its not running in true HD but sub-HD)...I just hope the bodies don't "disappear" like most games. I have a feeling this installment of the SC series is not going to be a good one, I'm sure it will get a good rating, but not the bombshell score that people are expecting, but then gain who knows, but all these topics popping up just around the corner of release time is not good...
Sorry...but the demo was not very good, or least the level they picked for the demo....and the whole premise of showing objectives on a wall seems like you are being lead by the hand to me for some reason, graphics definitely didn't seem like a leap from previous installments either....unless the rest of game redeems itself.
one goes, and new ones appears.....the more they try to bring the operation down, they only create new ones....this is big business and it going to be hard to stop it.
40 for Borderlands? NO DEAL.... 29.99 used (good condition, manual and original case) off Amazon......DEAL! and the prices get lower and lower almost every week. I agree with the other poster, Amazon is THE best place to get pre-owned games...I get the majority of my games off their, just got Batman: AA for 21 bucks.....can't beat that, even EBGames/Gamestop and Best Buy combined can't touch their prices....but not to piss on the poster's article, but Amazon is the one to beat dude....
the writing on the walls for the objectives in a way does break the immersion like someone said, its almost like you are being lead by the hand to me, at least that how is appears....no sure if I like that or not. I understand its for not just walking aimlessly, but not sure abut this.
PSN runs fine and has good features and doesn't need anything from LIVE....it stands on its own merits and seems more "lively" than LIVE to me....HOME is what separates LIVE and it gets better with each day, plus the Game Room is nothing more than what Sony has been doing with playing virtual games in HOME....matter of fact, HOME's mini-games like Buzz, Siren's...etc trumps a lot of things on LIVE.
Hmm...doesn't sound like its gonna match the critical acclaim like its predecessors, but could possibly..the technical feat they clamied was not in the demo at all, so I hope they keep on their promise on the final build.
And to the Xbox fan squads, please refrain from bringing PS3 folks into the mix, what do they have to do about the current state of this new installment? Not a thing....focus on the game.
Yeah...the Xbox is not a solid piece of hardware, but for what it is spec wise from a software perspective, its a amazing machine. But as I always said about the difference between MS and Sony is that MS is a software based company so they know their sh!t, and Sony is primarily a hardware-base company and know how to make pretty solid hardware and impressive technology, and no fanboy can't argue the foundation on either company. Both companies have their strengths and weakness, this is nothin...
