NICE.....definitely would like to play another Manhunt game, but as long as its not exclusive to just using the Move...but if it is, well....I guess I have to get use to using it then.
I hope the final product is good, because that demo was straight garbage and the graphics where a joke, the shadows looked great, because that's what SC is known for but I don't see where the jaw dropping graphics that was hyped up for this are (looks like pass 360 versions of SC), maybe later on in the game I guess, because it sure as hell wasn't in that demo.
That top 5 is pitiful list, the only worthy one on there I would say is Bioshock.
There quite a few good atmospheric FPS; only recent ones that come to mind so far:
1) Halo (the first one because it was the one that started it all)
2) Killzone 2 (no need to explain)
3) COD4: Modern Warfare
4) Resistance (the first one)
5) Half-Life 2
Honorable Mentions:
1)Crysis
2)Far Cry 2
3)Medal of Honor: Allied Assaul...
Hmm.....I dunno, is it me or does this somewhat sounds like the concept of Sony's HOME where you can walk into the Arcade/Bowling alley spot and play a virtual games?
People really thought this game was scary?!?...I dunno, I played the first one got bored...the whole running around offices with bland looks was pretty whack to me...the rooms all started to look the same and scares where okay at first. Then the 2nd installment just didn't do it for me at all....but to each his own.
Smart move by EA, I guess they really meant what they said about starting to give the PS3 more attention....they are wising up and realize that its best to develop for the PS3 first and then port it to the 360....at least that way, the PS3 won't be gimped down from the 360's architecture. Now if other devs would follow suit, they wouldn't get such half-ass results. If you already know the working innards of both consoles are totally different then you should better prioritize which one to tac...
Really don't know why people are getting so amped up over this, this is not a battle of the game or graphics....I think its good competition and harmless fun, this is the one of the reasons why I like Insomniac as developers, they are humble about their work....heck, Cliffy B isn't locked down to Microsoft, maybe ND can coax him into creating a PS3 game.... :)
After playing the demo....make it 39.99 and you got yourself a deal.
Anyone who signs up for that and actually uses this, you definitely have no "game" at all and you really must be some type of loser...who the hell wants to "pay" for some chick that probably can't play for sh!t...come on man!
After playing the demo....it needs to sell for 39.99.
Come on Hironobu.....the FF series is comprised of mostly CGI movies for mar than actual gameplay...so who is he to complain?
Maybe because GOWIII doesn't contain sissy looking characters perhaps? Who knows...
Every point said in this article, I have been feeling the same exact way......the graphics are NOT jaw-dropping at all plus it has already been revealed that its running in sub-HD so that right there is a major blow to the game....and the whole thing with the objective being shown on a wall, not sure if I like that or not, sounds like you are being lead by the hand....maybe they should of pick a different level for the demo because that level of the abandoned warehouse didn't look great at al...
Demo was okay....graphics are not that spectacular (guess the discovery of the sub-HD settings) as past articles said, the shadows are amazing looking though, but that's what SC is known for. Maybe it was the level since it was dark and in a abandoned warehouse...it was by no means crappy, hopefully other locales look better. The interrogation system is alright.....and the whole thing with the objectives shown on the wall...not sure how I really feel about it. It does make getting the task ea...
How about this Cliff: "Imagine making a kick ass game like Heavy Rain or of the same caliber of quality on the PS3". Has a nice ring to it doesn't?
Played the demo, it was okay. Definitely not the jaw-dropping spectacle as I thought it would be, it by no mean a crappy looking title, the shadows are awesome which SC is known for anyway. But it just didn't look all that great, maybe it was the level in the demo since it was dark. The beginning looked good with the bathroom scene....hopefully it will deliver, whole thing with the objectives showing on the wall, I'm a little indifference about, not sure if I like it or not, sounds like you a...
Some of you losers on here WISH you had the Intel that HipHopGamer gets. Don't hate on this guys because he gets access to game information and plays the the latest sh!t that you could only dream of doing.
Keep doing your thing brah!! Most people would love to trade places with him if they could. At least he is not boring like some game news reporters.
Being that this guy offered broken promises and high hopes for Fable games...he shouldn't be the one to talk or comment about anything!!
Good move for them, at least this way, we will know for certain that PS3 games won't get gimped down because of the 360's shortcomings and totally different architecture.
Now other devs need to follow suit.
i thought we where gonna see some actual gameplay footage.....the ultimate game? Show the gameplay and I'll believe it or not.
HS better than GOWIII....please, don't be stupid...the boss battles, atmosphere and more trumps HS..plus GOW has two installments in, HS has nothing to stand on. However the premises and concept of HS is pretty much similar and it's almost a female version of GOW and that's not a bad thing at all, HS was a awesome game with almost Hollywood movie-type production and facial animations that was just unbelievable and one of the best early PS3 titles out back then. I just wish the developers didn...
